Nestled among the hills of the Finale Ligure hinterland, just 300 meters above sea level from the coast, lies the agriturismo LaValleggia, surrounded by the tranquility and freshness of the Ligurian countryside. This family-run establishment is part of a fruit and vegetable farm and takes its name from the Valleggia apricot, a symbol of the region that still thrives among the rows of the orchard enveloping the property. Cultivated using organic and traditional methods, this orchard is the heart of the agricultural activity and a testament to the deep connection with local roots.

The agriturismo spans two levels: on the ground floor, there is a spacious living area, a lounge with panoramic windows, and a porch overlooking the Riviera di Ponente, along with a room featuring a private entrance. The upper floor houses five double rooms, each with a terrace or private garden offering sea views. One of these rooms is also accessible for guests with disabilities. Shared spaces include a co-housing area equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, kettle, and coffee machine, perfect for a moment of relaxation.

The rooms, inspired by the colors and scents of the orchard plants, are furnished with natural materials and reclaimed decor, each possessing its own unique character. Some rooms offer a place to store bicycles, and upon request, an additional bed or crib can be added.

Next to the main building, camping enthusiasts can find pitches immersed in nature, suitable for campers up to 7 meters long and tents placed on ancient stone terraces, shaded by fruit trees. The campsite is equipped with sanitary facilities that include hot showers, wash basins, a refrigerator, a washing machine, a barbecue area, and power supply points. There is also a camper service area for water loading and unloading, and parking is free.

Breakfast is a special occasion, featuring homemade jams, yogurt with natural cultures, carefully prepared pastries and bread, fresh fruit gathered on the same day, and eggs from the farm. From Friday to Sunday, dinner can also be booked, made with seasonal ingredients sourced from the vegetable garden and the Taggiasca olive grove. A weekly catering service is available for groups.

LaValleggia offers an authentic connection with nature: guests can wander among the dry stone walls and cultivated terraces, discovering fruit trees and aromatic and medicinal plants such as rosemary, sage, lavender, and thyme. The agriturismo is also a member of the Apiliguria association and produces honey with its own bees. Guests will encounter farm animals such as goats, chickens, rabbits, dwarf sheep, a dog, and several cats along the property’s paths, welcoming both young and old.

For those seeking outdoor activities, sailing excursions along the Ligurian coast can be booked, or guests can explore the famous mountain biking trails with guided tours or bike shuttle services. The facility is equipped to accommodate cycling groups, with the option to reserve the entire agriturismo, including catering and dedicated services.

The experience is completed with a small wellness area featuring a Finnish sauna and hot tub, scenic spots equipped with tables and sun loungers, and a warm welcome that makes every stay at LaValleggia an invitation to slow down, breathe, and rediscover simplicity.
