Just a short distance from the sea and nestled in the quiet of the Dianese hills, Agriturismo Le Girandole offers a unique blend of tranquility, comfort, and agricultural tradition. The property is located in Diano Marina, in a green and secluded area, making it an ideal spot to relax without sacrificing the convenience of reaching the city center in a ten-minute walk or the beach, which is only 800 meters away.

There are five apartments available, each with different sizes and configurations: three three-room apartments, one two-room apartment, and one studio. All are newly built and tastefully furnished, featuring a terrace, free Wi-Fi, satellite TV, dishwasher, washing machine, air conditioning, and private outdoor parking. During your stay, you can also take advantage of the free bike rental service to explore the surrounding area sustainably.

The history of the agriturismo dates back to the mid-20th century, when Pietro Capra left Piedmont to start a farming venture in Diano Marina. Over the years, the family has transformed the business into a solid reality, adding the cultivation of DOP Genoese basil – the company's flagship product – along with beef heart tomatoes, lemons, fava beans, artichokes, eggplants, bell peppers, and trombetta zucchinis, all sold directly from the farm according to the seasons.

In 2012, the agriturismo was established with the aim of providing authentic hospitality in a family atmosphere, passionately upholding the values of the land and enhancing the Gulf of Dianese. Today, the family continues to carefully cultivate their products and promote mindful and sustainable tourism, perfect for those wishing to discover the wonders of the Western Ligurian Riviera.

The agriturismo’s location allows easy access to charming villages like Alassio, Sanremo, Apricale, and Triora. Among the recommended experiences is a walk along the “Incompiuta,” the ancient coastal road connecting Diano Marina to Imperia, which is accessible only on foot or by bicycle, allowing you to fully appreciate the authentic beauty of the area.

Area Collina

The area where Agriturismo Le Girandole is located is in the hills of Diano, a peaceful and green corner of the western Ligurian Riviera, close to Diano Marina. Here, the Mediterranean scrub blends with olive groves, greenhouses, and typical local crops, creating an authentic rural landscape where the rhythm of nature governs the days. This environment is perfect for those seeking a refreshing break away from the hustle and bustle, yet still close to the sea, which is just 800 meters away, and the amenities of the town center, easily reachable on foot.

Diano Marina, the heart of the Dianese Gulf, is a seaside destination renowned for its sandy beaches, clear waters, and mild climate throughout the year. The promenade and the streets of the town offer restaurants, ice cream shops, boutiques, and places to stroll in the evening, while the surrounding area provides picturesque views and scenic routes, ideal for hiking or biking.

Among the most enchanting experiences is the walk along the “Incompiuta,” a coastal road closed to traffic that connects Diano Marina to Imperia, suspended between the sea and the rocks, perfect for savoring the landscape at a leisurely pace. From here, one can also easily reach historic villages in the inland, such as Cervo, Apricale, and Triora, or more famous spots like Alassio and Sanremo, for those who wish to balance relaxation with cultural exploration.

The region is also deeply rooted in agricultural tradition: local markets, festivals, and small businesses like that of the agriturismo's owners tell a story rich in aromas, flavors, and respect for the land, where the DOP Genovese basil, cuore di bue tomatoes, and trombetta zucchinis are more than just products; they are part of the local culture.
