Villa Thea is an elegant and modern residence located on the initial hills of Lerici, overlooking the picturesque Gulf of Poets. The property combines contemporary design with family furnishings and mementos, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Spread over three levels connected by a spacious spiral staircase, it features bright rooms with private bathrooms, cozy lounges, and panoramic terraces ideal for relaxing while enjoying the view.

Just a few meters from the villa, there is free parking available, and a path allows guests to reach the center of Lerici in about ten minutes. Right next to the house, there is a bus stop for the mini-bus that takes visitors to the town and, with a short walk, to the beaches. The breakfast served is typically Italian, sweet, and wholesome.

Paola, who has been dedicated to hospitality for over a decade, is always eager to recommend local itineraries, attractions, and events, as well as assist guests with minor transportation needs. She enjoys meeting new people and happily shares convivial moments, whether chatting in the lounge or on the terrace, or enjoying simple dinners together. Her love for animals and gardening adds to the homely ambiance.

The villa's location, surrounded by olive trees and agaves, offers a peaceful stay while being close to the center. From the hills, trails connect to nearby villages, and within a few kilometers, one can reach Monte Marcello, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and the artistic city of Sarzana, known for its summer antique market. The marble quarries and Tellaro, listed among the most beautiful villages in Italy, are also worth a visit.

From the Lerici port, ferries depart for Porto Venere and the Cinque Terre, making the villa an ideal base for exploring Liguria. Nearby, there are restaurants and venues that enhance the experience, such as Ameste with its panoramic terrace overlooking the sea, Bar Silvia for sunset aperitifs, and Osteria di Redarca, nestled in greenery, where guests can savor excellent cuisine paired with a rich selection of wines.
Rooms and Rates
The day at Villa Thea begins with a typically Italian breakfast, sweet and simply prepared. Croissants, homemade cakes, cookies, and fresh bread are served alongside jams, honey, and seasonal fruits. Coffee, tea, and cappuccino are also available, offered in a relaxed atmosphere that encourages you to savor the morning at your own pace. On beautiful days, breakfast can be enjoyed on the terrace, taking in the view of the Gulf of Poets while breathing in the fresh hillside air.

Hey, I'm Paola

Paola is the heart of Villa Thea. After ten years managing the B&B "L’Antico Glicine," she decided to bring her expertise and passion to this new home, which offers the same stunning view of the Gulf of Poets. For her, welcoming guests is more than just a job; it’s a joy. She enjoys chatting, sharing a glass of wine or a coffee on the terrace, organizing an impromptu spaghetti meal, and making everyone feel like part of a small family. Always ready to offer advice on itineraries, walks, and places to visit, Paola is also helpful with small car trips, ensuring that stays are peaceful and worry-free. Her love for animals and gardening adds an authentic and personal touch to the homey atmosphere, perfectly reflecting her warm and genuine character.

Area Collina

Lerici is one of the treasures of the Gulf of Poets, a charming bay that has inspired writers and artists throughout history. The village is centered around a small harbor dominated by a grand medieval castle, from which one can gaze out towards Porto Venere and the islands of the archipelago. Strolling through its streets, you will encounter lively squares, seaside venues, and restaurants serving the most authentic Ligurian cuisine, where fresh fish takes center stage.

The area offers a wealth of experiences. The beaches of Lerici and San Terenzo, easily accessible on foot or by local transport, are ideal for sun-soaked days by the sea. From here, scenic trails weave through olive groves and Mediterranean scrub, perfect for nature lovers who enjoy walking. Nearby is Tellaro, a picturesque fishing village renowned as one of the most beautiful in Italy. Additionally, a boat trip allows for exploration of Porto Venere and the Cinque Terre, must-see destinations for anyone visiting Liguria.

Surrounding Lerici, there are numerous charming villages and artistic cities. Monte Marcello, located just a few kilometers away, is a UNESCO World Heritage site that offers breathtaking views of the sea. Sarzana, with its ancient fortresses and famous summer antiques market, is a fascinating destination for history buffs and collectors alike. A visit to the marble quarries of the Apuan Alps is also a must, showcasing a unique landscape that reflects the millennia-old tradition of this stone.

In addition to the stunning locales, the region is rich in flavors: from Ligurian focaccia and pesto to local wines to enjoy in taverns or during al fresco dining. A stay in Lerici provides a complete experience of the sea, culture, nature, and delicious cuisine, all within the peaceful atmosphere of an authentic village and the thrill of unforgettable views.
