Nestled among the cultivated terraces of Liguria, La Cuccagna di Rapallo is an agriturismo established in 2010 from the restoration of an old farm. Located in a region rich in history and traditions, the heart of the agriturismo is a late 18th-century house where olives were once pressed in an ancient mill that still exists on the premises. Today, the restaurant and rooms welcome guests in an authentic and rejuvenating environment, surrounded by centuries-old olive trees, gardens, and orchards tended with care.
The land here is highly fertile, benefiting from its proximity to the sea, and produces uniquely flavored products enhanced by the constant Mediterranean breeze flowing over the terraces. Farming is considered an art passed down through generations, aiming to allow the land to showcase its full potential through a perfect balance of sun, water, tradition, and care.
For a nature-filled stay, the agriturismo offers three bright and colorful double rooms, each with a private bathroom and the option to add a third bed. Guests can unwind in the garden or on the spacious terrace, enjoying the peace and authentic atmosphere of the Ligurian countryside.
Rapallo serves as the perfect starting point for exploring the Ligurian Riviera di Levante, featuring breathtaking landscapes and charming villages. From here, one can take the scenic route to Portofino, passing through stunning coves and the Protected Marine Area, or venture into the trails of the Portofino Regional Natural Park. Heading east, the Cinque Terre offers a unique landscape with their vineyard terraces overlooking the sea, while to the west, Genoa is easily accessible, boasting its medieval historic center, museums, and the famous aquarium.
To travel between these wonders, guests can choose from a car, train, or the Tigullio Maritime Service, which connects the coastal villages from Genoa to Palmaria Island, providing a unique experience between land and sea.
