The road winds upward, and after navigating a few steep curves, the buildings become sparser; once you pass a bend, you are enveloped by the beauty of the Mediterranean scrub.

Here, you encounter the first cluster of stone houses in Verezzi, which includes the villages of Poggio Piazza, Roccaro, and Crosa. The roofless homes, the narrow alleys, and the crêuze provide an enchanting architectural harmony. The atmosphere is light, filled with a profound sense of history. It feels as though you can sense the presence of all those who have lived here, laboring to build this captivating village. Verezzi is infused with the fragrance of olive trees and the sea.

How to get there:
- Exit at the Finale Ligure toll booth.
- At the SP 490 roundabout, turn right and continue toward Gorra.
- In Gorra, take Via Bracciale heading to Verezzi.
- After about 1.5 km, you will reach the first hamlet of Verezzi: Crosa. Just before the last left turn, you'll see a sign indicating parking reserved for "Svegliarsi a Verezzi." Ascend the ramp and park there.
