In the heart of Ponchiera, a small district of Sondrio, our agriturismo was established in 2020 with the aim of revitalizing an ancient Valtellina architecture. We offer twelve unique rooms that cater to couples seeking intimacy and families in need of spacious accommodations, all while providing stunning views of the Alps.

I am Olmo, the host. Together with Francesca and our little Emma, we embrace a vision of hospitality that combines simplicity, attentive care for our guests, and respect for nature. We envisioned a place where tradition meets modernity, where the tranquility of the woods and the stories of the village elders narrate a vibrant valley filled with history and potential.

Our bright and quiet rooms provide the luxury of simplicity, featuring modern comforts, private bathrooms, air conditioning, and breathtaking views of the alpine valley. Outside, a spacious garden beckons you to slow down, breathe deeply, and immerse yourself in the beauty of the landscape.

The kitchen is the heart of our experience. Traditional dishes such as pizzoccheri, sciatt, bresaola, and cured meats are complemented by recipes that highlight herbs, berries, and free-range meats. Our farm-to-table breakfasts offer a delightful mix of sweet and savory options, including milk, yogurt, honey, homemade cakes, cured meats, cheeses, and juices from our farm.

For those looking to create a special moment, we organize events with themed menus and provide opportunities to explore Valtellinese cuisine at Trattoria Olmo, located in the center of Sondrio. In the agriturismo's cellar, amid ancient arches and the scents of the mountains, we host tastings of cheeses, cured meats, and Nebbiolo wines, featuring renowned labels like Inferno, Sassella, and Grumello, as well as Sforzato.

Choosing our agriturismo means immersing yourself in an authentic Valtellinese experience, where every detail is designed to make guests feel like part of a family story and a landscape that continues to amaze.

Ponchiera is a small hamlet in Sondrio that maintains the authenticity of the Valtellinese mountain villages. Its ancient stone houses, narrow alleys, and terraced landscapes narrate a rich history of rural life and heroic viticulture, with vineyards climbing up the alpine slopes, offering breathtaking views of the valley and the Adda River.

Just a few minutes from the agriturismo, there are hiking trails that wind through chestnut and larch forests, perfect for trekking, leisurely walks, and mountain biking.
