Casa Martina is located in a quaint village surrounded by greenery, just a few kilometers from San Pellegrino Terme, making it an ideal spot for exploring Bergamo and its valleys. The establishment is part of a multifunctional farm where small fruits and chestnuts are cultivated, beekeeping is practiced, and livestock such as sheep, goats, and horses are raised. The farm's products are available for direct sale and are used in the kitchen of the small agriturismo, where, upon reservation, guests can enjoy authentic dishes prepared in a family-style setting.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable, featuring a private bathroom, LCD television, DVD/DivX player, minibar, and hairdryer. Just a short walk from the property, the cycling path of the Valle Brembana follows the route of the old railway, providing a scenic 21 km trail through historic tunnels and charming villages. Nearby, visitors can explore the medieval village of Cornello dei Tasso, the Val Taleggio, and numerous hiking and trekking trails.
Rooms and Rates
Casa Martina is primarily a farm and agritourism establishment where the authentic flavors of the land are present even at breakfast. The small fruits grown on the farm are turned into jams, which, along with honey from our bees, enhance the morning table.

As an agritourism venue, we offer our guests homemade tarts paired with bread and pastries from our local baker, yogurt, and high-quality juices. For those interested, goat cheese is also available upon request.

Please note: the room rates apply only to the overnight stay. Breakfast is available for an additional cost of 7 euros per person.
Food represents life, culture, tradition, and a connection to the land. At Casa Martina, we are farmers, and our agriturismo aims to remain true to its roots, avoiding transformation into a restaurant, hotel, or tourist resort.

Our dining experience is family-oriented, accommodating up to 25 guests, and embraces the simplicity of local traditions. We do not offer elaborate dishes; instead, we celebrate the authenticity and flavors of our valleys, using seasonal and locally sourced ingredients. We believe in focusing on a few items done exceptionally well, as we are committed to ensuring that food is healthy and respectful of the environment and its cycles.

Meals are available only by reservation, at least two days in advance. The agriturismo is open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Hey, I'm Giovanni

Giovanni, born in 1971, is the heart and soul of Casa Martina. Since 1990, he has passionately dedicated himself to managing the farm and agritourism business, and in 2008, he added a cozy bed and breakfast area. For him, hosting is an engaging and rewarding experience that demands effort but also brings great satisfaction. Although he doesn't travel often, he enjoys welcoming people from all over the world into his family home, sharing with them the charm of his mountains and the surrounding nature. In his free time, he loves to stroll along the valley's trails and ride the bike paths with friends. When he can take a break, he prefers the sea and art cities, in search of new discoveries, emotions, and beauty. For him, history, tradition, and nature are endless sources of inspiration and joy.

Area Collina

The Brembana Valley is a region characterized by its strong and authentic nature, generously offering its treasures to those who explore it with curiosity and respect. This area is composed of mountains, forests, and ancient villages, where history, culture, and traditions intertwine in a profound connection with the natural world.

The most famous part of the valley is San Pellegrino Terme, renowned worldwide for its mineral water and its illustrious history linked to the Belle Époque. Often referred to as the “queen of Art Nouveau,” this town symbolizes spa tourism, with the well-known QC Terme, which has been providing a wellness experience amidst elegant architecture and breathtaking landscapes since 2014.

Following the path of the Brembo River and the ancient Priula road, which once connected Switzerland to the Serenissima, one encounters charming villages steeped in history. Oneta is home to the legendary House of Harlequin, while Cornello dei Tasso, remarkably preserved in its medieval appearance, is the birthplace of the family that revolutionized the European postal system.

The culinary culture of the valley is equally deep-rooted and authentic, showcasing flavors that tell the story of mountain life. Polenta taragna, canunsei, nusecc, and a variety of exceptional cheeses—from Taleggio to Branzi and Strachitunt to Agrì—are just a few of the specialties that make this region unique. A journey through the Brembana Valley is an immersion in enchanting landscapes, ancient traditions, and genuine hospitality.
