B&B Aquilegia

B&B Aquilegia is a stone house from the late 19th century that has been recently renovated. It overlooks the Candigliano River and the Golena Park, situated in the heart of the Furlo Gorge Nature Reserve. From the windows, guests can enjoy a stunning view of the greenery and nature that changes colors with the seasons, creating ever-different atmospheres—from the vibrant hues of spring to the enchanting white of winter. The property spans two floors; on the second floor, which has a private entrance, there are three modern and well-appointed rooms, each with a private bathroom, Wi-Fi, TV, music, and, in two of them, a cozy loft.

On the ground floor, a bright breakfast room awaits you, where each morning a selection of local products is served: homemade pastries, artisanal jams, fresh bread, and typical cured meats, with the option to request personalized choices. The garden is the perfect spot to relax while reading, listening to music, or savoring good wine, all amidst the tranquility and beauty of the surrounding landscape.

The Furlo Reserve, which envelops the B&B, is an unspoiled natural paradise. Here, one can encounter eagles, deer, wild boars, and foxes, and every season presents different scenery for those who love to walk, cycle, or simply observe. Numerous trails wind through the gorge and ascend Monte Paganuccio and Monte Pietralata, while nearby Monte Catria also offers skiing opportunities in winter. Close by, you can find charming towns and cities of art such as Urbino, Fossombrone, Gubbio, and Gradara, as well as natural wonders like the Frasassi Caves and the Fonte Avellana hermitage.

The region is also famous for its traditional cuisine, rich in authentic flavors: handmade pasta, truffles, crescia, game, and aged cheeses are complemented by high-quality local wines.
