The Dream of Tino is a historic residence located in the heart of the village of Cabernardi, housed in a building dating back to the 1700s and one of the oldest structures in the area. It has always been owned by the Caverni family and features its main façade facing the main street of the town, while the back overlooks the expansive family lands. The basement reflects the building's ancient winemaking activity, still evident with a large wooden wine press, while the two upper floors served as the main living quarters.

During the 20th century, coinciding with the economic boom from mining, part of the ground floor was designated for commercial use. After the mine closed in 1956, leading to a decline in population, the residence fell into disrepair, reaching a dilapidated state until the 1980s when Tino, one of the heirs, initiated the first renovation efforts. His passing in 1991 halted the work, but several years later, his daughter Loredana and grandson Sergio resumed the project, transforming it into an accommodation facility.

Currently, The Dream of Tino offers two living units: the “Lavender Rooms” apartment, which includes a living room, kitchenette, double bedroom, and bathroom, and the “Wisteria Room,” a double room with a private entrance. The restoration plan includes the creation of six apartments, two double rooms, an event space with a fully equipped kitchen, a large garden overlooking the woods, a swimming pool, and a small wellness center. The interiors blend restored historical elements, such as the ancient wine press, with original and modern furnishings.

The residence's location allows for a unique experience that combines village life with the tranquility of the Marche countryside. On the southeast side, it faces the main street, just a short walk from points of interest like the church, the Mining Museum, the village club, and the local shop. In contrast, the northwest side offers views of cultivated hills and wooded areas, where nature trails can be explored.

This establishment is an ideal choice for those seeking a relaxing vacation away from the hustle and bustle of city life, in an environment that merges history, comfort, and authenticity. The rooms and apartments are equipped with all modern amenities, including Wi-Fi, a television, and a hairdryer, while guests can enjoy a communal lounge with a fireplace, a garden equipped with a barbecue, and private parking.

This historic residence, born from the dream of a beloved individual, welcomes guests with warmth and attention to detail, providing the opportunity to discover small villages and unspoiled landscapes in the area, surrounded by hills, mountains, rivers, and the sea just a few kilometers away. The surrounding territory invites exploration of museums, archaeological sites, castles, and local traditions, ensuring unforgettable cultural and natural experiences.

The Dream of Tino is thus a place where the past and present converge, offering guests the feeling of being at home in an environment rich in history and charm.

Area Collina

Tino's Dream is located in the charming village of Cabernardi, a part of the Municipality of Sassoferrato, nestled in the typical landscape of the Marche countryside. This area is a true treasure trove of history, nature, and culture, characterized by rolling hills, vast wooded areas, and remnants of a mining past that has profoundly influenced the region.

Once a hub of one of Europe's largest sulfur mines, the village still holds traces of that era, evident in the Mining Museum and the archaeological-mining park, just a short walk from the residence. Here, one can feel an authentic atmosphere, rich in local traditions and a village lifestyle that encourages a slow and mindful exploration.

Nearby, there are many places of historical and cultural significance. Approximately 10 kilometers away lies Sassoferrato, a town with ancient roots, featuring museums dedicated to arts and folk traditions, an archaeological park, and monuments of great importance. Continuing in the vicinity, visitors can explore picturesque villages such as Pergola, Frontone, Serra Sant’Abbondio, Arcevia, and Castelleone di Suasa, each boasting its own museums, medieval castles, and archaeological sites.

Nature takes center stage here: trails winding through hills and forests provide opportunities for hiking or biking, allowing one to immerse themselves in the tranquility and colors of an unspoiled landscape. Additionally, the Natural Park of Gola della Rossa and the renowned Frasassi Caves are located nearby, both notable natural attractions of international significance.

The strategic location also allows for day trips to historic and artistic cities such as Fabriano, Mondavio, Corinaldo, Gubbio, Urbino, and Gradara, enriching the stay with captivating cultural experiences. For those interested in spirituality and religious history, important destinations like Assisi, Loreto, and Recanati are easily accessible.

The region is also famous for its traditional cuisine and gastronomic routes, allowing visitors to savor typical Marche products accompanied by fine local wines. The blend of history, nature, art, and flavors makes the area around Tino's Dream an ideal spot for those looking to enjoy a vacation focused on discovery and relaxation, away from mass tourism, yet filled with authentic and fulfilling experiences.
