Nestled in the hilly landscape surrounding Pergola, in the heart of the Marche region, Agriturismo La Primavera welcomes its guests into an authentic setting where nature intertwines with culture and agricultural tradition. The view stretches from the peaks of the Umbro-Marchigiano Apennines, including Monte Catria and Monte Acuto, to the Cesano Valley and the silhouette of Monte Conero, providing breathtaking scenery in every season.

The establishment is part of a small family-run farm that cultivates saffron and olives using organic methods. The farm is lively with the presence of horses, chickens, cats, and a dog, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for families and those seeking a direct connection with nature.

The four guest rooms are located in a recently renovated farmhouse. Each accommodation is spacious and comfortable, featuring a private entrance, en-suite bathroom, ceiling fan, insect screens, Wi-Fi, and heating. Some rooms are also accessible to individuals with disabilities. Every detail is attended to with simplicity and style, honoring the identity of the place. The Giacinto room offers a romantic ambiance and can accommodate up to four guests, while the Narciso and Croco rooms overlook the lush olive groves and an ancient monastery. The Tulipano room boasts a stunning view of the valley.

The garden surrounding the farmhouse is an ideal space for relaxing in the shade or sunbathing by the pool. Breakfast, served under the porch, is a special moment enhanced by the colors of the landscape and local flavors.

The agriturismo's location is perfect for exploring the surrounding area, with trails for walking, cycling, or horseback riding. Artistic cities such as Urbino, Gradara, Mondavio, and the Frontone Castle are easily accessible, as are the Frasassi Caves and the Gola del Furlo. During the warmer months, the beaches of Senigallia, Fano, Marotta, and the Riviera del Conero complete the experience with the scent of the sea and delicious seafood cuisine.

From May to November, the area comes alive with festivals and traditional celebrations featuring tastings of local products, music, dancing, and moments of togetherness. In autumn, the agriturismo serves as a starting point for discovering fairs and markets focused on truffles, such as those in Pergola and Acqualagna, where culture and gastronomy meet in an authentic atmosphere.

Agriturismo La Primavera is not just a place to stay; it is an experience to be had, surrounded by rejuvenating silence, genuine hospitality, and the slow pace of the Marche countryside.
Rooms and Rates
Breakfast at the Agriturismo La Primavera is a slow and enjoyable ritual, experienced outdoors under the porch that opens onto the garden, surrounded by the scent of grass and the gentle morning light. It's a time when the silence of nature accompanies the first sips of coffee, and one's gaze wanders over the Marche hills.

Each day, we carefully prepare a wholesome breakfast made from simple and authentic flavors. Cakes, bread, and jams are homemade, crafted with selected ingredients and traditional recipes. We also offer yogurt, honey, seasonal fruits, and hot beverages to start the day with balance and sweetness.

When the season allows, we serve the fruits of our land as well: extra virgin olive oil from our own olives, preserves, and small-scale productions linked to the natural cycle of the farm. This breakfast tells our story and reflects our connection to this place, designed to make every guest feel welcomed and at ease, just like at home.

Hey, I'm Ellen

My name is Ellen, and along with my husband Jac, we passionately run Agriturismo La Primavera. After longing for a change in our lives for quite some time, we decided to commit ourselves to this project that blends hospitality, nature, and simplicity. For the past two years, we have found our home in this charming corner of the Marche region, where we personally handle hospitality, cooking, and our farming. Our aim is to welcome travelers with warmth and authenticity, sharing our daily lives with them and helping them feel part of a slower, more harmonious way of living. Guests who choose to stay with us particularly appreciate the tranquility, the surrounding scenery, and the direct connection with nature: here, each season presents unique colors, scents, and special moments to experience with simplicity.

Area Campagna

The agriturismo is situated in one of the most picturesque areas of the Marche region, nestled in the hilly landscape overlooking Pergola, providing stunning views in every direction. Here, nature reigns with its silent beauty: to the south, the horizon is framed by the towering peaks of Monte Catria and Monte Acuto, while to the east, the expansive Cesano Valley opens up, and on clearer days, the outline of Monte Conero can be seen near the Ancona coast.

This region retains the authentic charm of the Marche hinterland, featuring gentle cultivated hills, olive groves, winding trails through forests, and well-preserved medieval villages. It’s a territory that encourages slowing down, listening to the silence, and enjoying the light that shifts in color with the seasons. The scenic roads that wind through this part of Italy lead to towns rich in history, art, and tradition.

Hiking enthusiasts can discover enchanting places like Gola del Furlo, with its steep rock walls and the Candigliano River flowing along the ancient Flaminia road, or the wild and unspoiled Gola del Burano, perfect for walks and swimming in its clear natural pools.

Not far away are some of the region's most significant cultural destinations. Urbino, with its Renaissance historic center and the Ducal Palace, is a true gem recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Mondavio, Gradara, and Frontone offer well-preserved castles and breathtaking views, telling tales of ladies, knights, and medieval battles.

Throughout the year, especially between spring and autumn, the area is alive with festivals and local celebrations where culture and gastronomy blend together. Among the most notable are the truffle fairs in Pergola and Acqualagna, must-visit events for those who appreciate intense flavors and the authentic atmosphere of local markets. Local wines, handmade pasta, cured meats, cheeses, and traditional sweets enhance every event, accompanied by music and traditional dances.

The sea is also within reach: in about an hour's drive, one can reach the beaches of Senigallia, Fano, and Marotta, ideal for a day of sun, sand, and delicious seafood.

This corner of the Marche represents a perfect balance of landscape, art, and rural life. It’s a place where each day can transform into discovery, relaxation, or simple contemplation, surrounded by a subtle and intense beauty, ready to be experienced.
