In the lush heart of the Pesio Valley, just a few minutes from the center of Chiusa di Pesio, Agriturismo Coc Nèr welcomes guests with a warm and authentic atmosphere, where rural life meets simple and genuine hospitality. Born from the dream of Mattia and Irina, Coc Nèr serves as a refuge where nature, Piedmontese cuisine, and conviviality blend into a homely experience.

The kitchen is the vibrant soul of the agriturismo: each dish tells a story of local tradition, using fresh, quality ingredients sourced directly from the farm. The seasonal menu features homemade pasta, artisanal cheeses, carefully selected meats, and vegetables from the garden, alongside a tasting menu offered on holidays. Breakfast, served at the table, includes homemade pastries, fresh baked goods, yogurt, speck, cheeses, and seasonal fruits.

The accommodations, currently undergoing renovations, consist of wooden mini chalets and independent ground-floor apartments, all featuring private entrances, reserved green spaces, Wi-Fi, TV, refrigerator, and parking. Small to medium-sized pets are welcome and can enjoy designated outdoor areas.

Coc Nèr also functions as an educational farm, where adults and children can reconnect with the earth, get to know the animals up close, and participate in workshops related to cheese production. During the summer months, a summer camp inspired by the rhythms and values of the agricultural world is organized.

For outdoor enthusiasts, there is an e-bike rental service available to explore the many cycling routes in the area or to venture along trails that wind through forests, villages, and breathtaking landscapes. A cycling guide can be arranged upon request. For those who prefer to hike, the valley offers paths suitable for all levels, from the Pesio River to the Saut waterfalls and the Garelli Refuge.

The farm's equestrian center organizes horseback riding lessons year-round, providing authentic moments of connection with nature. Soon, the StarsBOX will be available, a small wooden structure with an opening roof designed for sleeping under the stars in complete harmony with the environment.

Finally, the flavors of Coc Nèr can also be enjoyed at home through the online shop, where artisanal cheeses, preserves, eggs, and other seasonal specialties, all produced with care and respect for the land, can be purchased.

Coc Nèr invites you to slow down, breathe in nature, and share the joy of carefully crafted experiences.

Hey, I'm Irina

Coc Nèr is passionately run by Mattia and Irina, a couple who are perfectly in sync both in their personal and professional lives. Irina warmly welcomes guests, manages the organization, and pays attention to every detail of hospitality, while Mattia is the heart of the farm and cheese workshop, where he transforms the animals' milk into authentic cheeses on a daily basis. In the kitchen, Alessandra—Irina's mother—preserves the recipes of Piedmontese tradition, supported by Ibe, a valuable and tireless presence both in the kitchen and in the rural lifestyle. Together, they form a cohesive team that makes a stay at Coc Nèr an authentic and inviting experience.

Area Campagna

The Pesio Valley, home to the Agriturismo Coc Nèr, is an unspoiled corner of southern Piedmont, nestled between the Maritime Alps and the Marguareis Natural Park. The nearest village, Chiusa di Pesio, is rich in history and traditions, making it an ideal starting point for those looking to explore an authentic landscape filled with lush scenery, soothing silence, and a slow pace of life.

This area is perfect for nature lovers in all its forms: beech and chestnut forests, clear streams, meadows, and trails that wind through cool valleys and offer panoramic views from the peaks. The variety of routes allows for hikes suitable for all levels, from easy strolls along the Pesio River to more challenging ascents towards the Garelli Refuge or the Saut Waterfalls. Each season transforms the valley: from the vibrant colors of autumn to the pristine whiteness of winter, followed by summer blooms and the freshness of spring.

For cycling enthusiasts, the region offers loop trails through villages, forests, and dirt roads, ideal for exploration on e-bikes. Among the most popular destinations are Pian delle Gorre, Lake Pianfei, and the scenic Sella Morteis. History buffs will also find fascinating sights, including ancient castles, examples of alpine architecture, and the millennia-old Certosa di Pesio, set in a stunning natural backdrop.

The Pesio Valley retains a strong agricultural spirit, reflected in the quality of its local products and the warmth of its people. Here, the mountains are not just a backdrop, but a vibrant and generous presence that marks the seasons and adds flavor to daily life. It is a place to slow down, breathe deeply, and rediscover the joy of simple pleasures.
