Hey, I'm Claudia

As a girl, I discovered the charm of bed and breakfasts during my time as an au pair in Ireland, traveling on weekends between hostels and B&Bs and meeting people from all over the globe. That dream of hospitality has come true here at Casa del Bosco, where I now welcome travelers from every corner of Italy and the world. Each guest brings with them a story, a dream, a piece of their world, and my greatest wish is for them to leave with the memory of a warm welcome and the feeling of having been at home.

Area Collina

Casa del Bosco is located in a picturesque hilly area, nestled in the heart of the Bramaterra region, surrounded by vineyards that define this part of Piedmont, renowned for its fine wine production. This setting is perfect for nature lovers and outdoor sports enthusiasts, with numerous mountain biking trails, such as those at Rive Rosse, and walking paths winding through the nearby hills and forests.

The region is part of the Valsesia-Sesia Val Grande Geopark, an area of remarkable geological and natural significance. Not far away is the Monte Fenera Natural Park, known for its caves and climbing walls in the Ara area. Climbing enthusiasts can also discover other stunning crags like Pietra Groana in Serravalle Sesia, Ronco in Fervento, Sant'Antonio in Alagna, and Torre delle Giavine in Boccioleto.

The Bramaterra wine region is adjacent to Gattinara, Lessona, and Ghemme, all easily accessible for tastings and winery tours. Just 7 km away, visitors can relax at the Gattinara swimming pool, while the Romagnano Sesia highway exit is a mere 12 km away, allowing for easy travel to other destinations in the region.

For mountain lovers, Bielmonte, located 32 km away within the Oasi Zegna, is a great spot, while Valsesia, approximately 40 km away, offers activities such as rafting, canoeing, and the Monte Rosa ski lifts. There are also culturally rich sites to explore, such as the Sacred Mountain of Varallo and the Sanctuary of Oropa.

Additionally, this area serves as an excellent starting point for excursions to Lake Orta and Lake Maggiore, both about 35 km away, or for a day of shopping at the Vicolungo outlets or fun at the Ondaland water park, both located 28 km away. On request, exhilarating off-road excursions can be arranged to explore the territory in an adventurous and engaging manner.
