  • Romantic atmosphere
Nestled in the serene hills of Quincinetto, at the border between Piedmont and Aosta Valley, B&B Casa Val welcomes guests to a relaxing atmosphere surrounded by lush greenery and at the edge of the forest. The establishment, which has been carefully restored from an old family home, offers accommodation in three spacious and comfortable rooms, each with a unique identity inspired by music: Jazz, Classical, and Ethnic.

The Jazz room, located on the ground floor, features a large panoramic window, a wood-burning fireplace, and a private bathroom with a spacious shower. Breakfast can be served directly in the room. On the upper floor, the Classical room boasts a balcony with a view and a versatile double bed that can be separated, accompanied by a two-person sofa bed. The Ethnic room, with the same view, offers flexible configurations with either two single beds or a double bed plus a sofa bed. Both rooms share a private bathroom.

Guests can enjoy two spacious terraces equipped for outdoor breakfasts, relaxation, or sunbathing, along with a charming tavern. The view from the main terrace stretches from the vineyards of Carema and the Aosta Valley mountains to the hill of Andrate, with Mombarone dominating the horizon. An attic area with a wood stove is perfect for outdoor evenings even during the shoulder seasons. The property also features green spaces, a children's play area, private parking, and a garage for bicycles and motorcycles.

Breakfast, meticulously prepared with local products, offers two options: a traditional breakfast with homemade pastries, honey, and mountain butter, or a more substantial experience featuring yogurt, eggs, fruit salad, and a generous platter of local cured meats and cheeses, including boudin, lardo, tome, and fontina. All this is complemented by local wines such as Donnas, Arnad, and Carema, available for tasting.

Casa Val serves as a strategic starting point for exploring the wonders of Aosta Valley, from its renowned ski resorts to historic villages, with opportunities for hiking, trekking, mountain biking, and climbing. Just a few kilometers away, the Forte di Bard and local culinary delights enhance the stay experience.
Rooms and Rates
Breakfast at Casa Val is a special occasion, designed to kick off the day with flavor and authenticity. Guests can select from two options, both made with carefully chosen local ingredients that highlight the genuine tastes of the Piedmontese and Aosta Valley traditions.

The classic breakfast features a variety of homemade pastries, cookies, cereals, artisanal jams, mountain honey, and local butter, all served alongside hot beverages and fruit juices. This simple yet abundant option is ideal for those who appreciate traditional flavors.

For those seeking a more substantial experience, the slow breakfast is a true journey through the region's flavors. In addition to everything included in the classic breakfast, it offers a lavish buffet with yogurt, muesli, fresh fruit salad, creams, and eggs, as well as a generous platter of local cured meats and cheeses. Here, the area's finest products come together: beef and pork salami, potato boudin, mountain lard, and various aged tomes, all paired with honey and artisanal jams.

During the warmer months, breakfast is served on the panoramic terrace, boasting spectacular views of the Carema vineyards and the Aosta Valley mountains. On cooler days, guests can enjoy their meal in cozy surroundings, characterized by the warmth of wood and stone. It’s a delightful moment that reflects the connection to the region and the desire to provide an authentic and unforgettable experience.

Area Collina

Quincinetto is located in the heart of Canavese, on the border between Piedmont and Valle d’Aosta, making it an ideal spot to explore both regions. The village is surrounded by a picturesque natural landscape, featuring vineyards, mountains, and forests, which creates a relaxing and authentic atmosphere. Ivrea and Biella are just a few kilometers away, and the proximity to the highway allows for easy access to the main tourist destinations in Aosta Valley, including the famous ski resorts.

This area is perfect for nature lovers and outdoor sports enthusiasts, with plenty of trails for hiking and mountain biking, climbing walls, and paragliding routes. Additionally, the region is rich in history and culture: the nearby Forte di Bard, a striking and impressive fortress, is one of the most popular attractions, along with the castles and medieval villages of Aosta Valley.

Gastronomy plays a vital role in the local identity. Quincinetto is renowned for its restaurants and culinary traditions, which are best expressed through local specialties such as Carema, Donnas, and Arnad wines, mountain cheeses, and artisanal cured meats. It is an ideal area for those seeking a stay immersed in nature, relaxation, culture, and authentic flavors.
