Casa Rubbo welcomes guests just a few kilometers from Alba, perched on a hill that separates the Barolo and Barbaresco wine regions. The location offers unforgettable views of the vineyards, nearby villages, and the Alps in the background. The house, recently renovated yet retaining its original charm, features a façade made of typical Piedmontese red bricks and overlooks a courtyard where the family has lived for generations.

The interiors combine classic style with modern comforts, with a strong emphasis on sustainability: many furnishings, fabrics, and tableware come from family traditions, minimizing the use of new and disposable materials. Guests can choose from two independent apartments.

Monviso, located on the first floor, is named after the majestic mountain that can be seen on clear days. It is equipped with air conditioning, underfloor heating, a fully-equipped kitchen, a coffee machine, a smart TV, and Wi-Fi. Comò, situated on the ground floor, has been carefully renovated while preserving period details that give it a cozy and authentic feel. It includes a living area with a kitchen, a bathroom with a shower, a double bedroom with a smart TV, and a second bedroom with a single bed. Outside, a small garden invites relaxation with views of the vineyards.

The courtyard features parking and is enhanced by an ancient well and green spaces that maintain the agricultural character of the area. The Rubbo family, who introduced the first Moscato d'Asti vines to the region in the early 1900s, will welcome you warmly and discreetly. Marco and Mariella are always available to share useful tips for exploring the Langhe, while Alessandro, a cycling enthusiast and bike tour guide, will be happy to suggest cycling routes.

A stay at Casa Rubbo means experiencing the authentic essence of the Langhe, surrounded by nature, tradition, and family hospitality.

Area Campagna

The Langhe, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is a region that captivates with its diverse landscapes and rich culture. Gentle, well-tended hills alternate with vineyards that produce some of the world's most famous wines, such as Barolo and Barbaresco, while small, perched villages preserve the intact remnants of centuries of history and tradition. Alba, located just a few kilometers from Casa Rubbo, is the vibrant heart of the area: an elegant and lively city known for its white truffle, artisan shops, Michelin-starred restaurants, and events that attract travelers from around the globe.

From the hills, views extend to the Alps, offering breathtaking scenes in every season. Medieval castles dot the landscape, telling tales of noble families and ancient disputes, while the paths through vineyards and forests invite walking, biking, and moments of relaxation in nature.

The region is also a cradle of unique flavors: in addition to wine and truffles, there are notable cheeses, the Tonda Gentile hazelnut, fresh pasta, and specialties of Piedmontese cuisine that blend sophistication and authenticity. Visiting the Langhe means immersing oneself in a complete experience that weaves together art, nature, and gastronomy, leaving an indelible memory for anyone who stays there.
