La Cascina - Valfaccenda

In the heart of Roero, surrounded by vineyards, woodlands, and hazelnut groves, "La Cascina" welcomes guests to a valley rich in history and beauty, just a few kilometers from Alba, Asti, and some of the most iconic locations in Piedmont. Once a wine cellar, it has now transformed into a small accommodation that offers an authentic and relaxed stay, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the vibrant atmosphere of a lively and productive farm.

The available accommodations include a two-room apartment named Arneis, which features a kitchen, living room, and a double bedroom, along with a triple room and another double room. Each morning, a generous buffet breakfast is served, perfect for starting the day on a tasty note.

The history of the property is closely intertwined with the Faccenda family, who have established their roots here since 1749. The farmhouse, built in 1928 by grandfather Leone, has been renovated while preserving elements that tell its story, thoughtfully and respectfully updated. Between 2016 and 2020, Carolina and Luca transformed this place into their life's project, integrating hospitality with wine production.

During their stay, guests have the opportunity to participate in tastings of wines produced on-site, stroll through the vineyards, relax in the tower overlooking the hills, or accompany the hosts in the cellar, gaining an intimate understanding of the work that evolves with the seasons. Every guest is invited to feel like part of this rural microcosm, characterized by simple and genuine gestures.
