The area where our home is located is an authentic corner of the Langhe, nestled in a hilly landscape dotted with vineyards, hazelnut groves, and ancient stone villages. We are in Roddino, a small village that still retains the peaceful and genuine atmosphere of the Piedmont countryside, far from mass tourism yet close to centers of significant cultural and culinary interest.
Within just a few kilometers, you can reach famous locations such as Monforte d’Alba, Serralunga, Barolo, La Morra, and Alba, all recognized as part of the UNESCO heritage for their scenic value and winemaking traditions. In these areas, you will find some of the most renowned wineries in Piedmont, ideal for those looking to engage in gourmet tours to discover great wines like Barolo, Dolcetto, and Nebbiolo, paired with local products and traditional recipes.
The region is also perfect for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts: scenic trails for hiking and cycling paths wind through the vineyards and hills, offering unforgettable views in every season. During the autumn months, the hills are painted in warm colors, attracting visitors from around the world for the truffle season, especially the renowned white truffle from Alba, which takes center stage at local fairs and markets.
The secluded location of our village allows for a rejuvenating silence while still providing easy access to restaurants, agritourisms, and small artisan shops where one can experience the authenticity of the area. Here, each day flows slowly, in harmony with nature, offering a deep and genuine stay filled with stunning landscapes, flavors, and sincere encounters.
