Montalenghe. But where is this place? And what is there exactly to see? Well, first of all, in Montalenghe there is the B&B Le Antiche Volte, one of those places not to be missed! A warm and welcoming place that will become your “second home” for the time you will stay, pampered by all the attentions of the owner Giorgia, one of those special people who leave you with something more than just the memory of a nice vacation. The art of hospitality is not something for everyone and Giorgia is a perfect host, sociable and easy-going, but also precise and professional, ready to meet any customer's needs, from a simple electrical outlet request to solving more complex situations (for example, I was also helped in the booking process since the website I was using was showing an error on the availability of dates; and additional assistance like this is never taken for granted). Furthermore, I will remember with pleasure the chats during breakfast (which I will talk about shortly), but also the privacy and comforts of the lovely B&B (the furnishings are meticulously cared for and make the environment truly welcoming). But let's get to the strong point of this B&B: breakfast! But how can one describe in words the crispiness of a freshly baked crumble, the scent and texture of a pastry as light as a cloud or the sweet taste of a delightful dessert in a glass? Well, you can't. I can only say that the breakfasts at B&B Le Antiche Volte were the best I have ever tasted so far; all accompanied by multi-flavored jams and fantastic black or green teas, or other drinks, according to the customer's preferences. I could go on and on about the hospitality and kindness found in this B&B, but I would risk becoming boring, so I conclude by mentioning the impeccable cleanliness of all the premises and the presence of a convenient and safe parking space. Finally, a few more words about the Canavese lands, which turned out to be a very pleasant discovery. There are plenty of things to do and see, exploring lakes, “dancing lands”, vineyards and balmetti, choosing between totally naturalistic experiences, but also more adrenaline-fueled ones (adventure parks, via ferrata, climbing walls, paragliding schools...) or more cultural ones (numerous castles and forts in the area, as well as the cities of Turin, Ivrea, Biella, Aosta not far away). At the B&B you will find plenty of information and brochures, along with useful advice that Giorgia will be happy to provide to organize your stay in the best way. In short, a magical place where I will definitely return, recommending the B&B Le Antiche Volte to all my friends and acquaintances!
