Casa Firmino is situated in a prime location at the base of the Turin hill, bordering the protected area of the Superga Natural Park. This area, abundant in trails and scenic views, is perfect for those who enjoy walking in nature, hiking, or simply unwinding in a peaceful and rejuvenating environment. Just a short walk from the house is the Basilica of Superga, a baroque masterpiece overlooking the city, which can also be accessed via the historic Sassi-Superga cogwheel tram, with its station located very close to the property. The park's visitor center is also located here, offering cultural activities, themed walks, workshops, and temporary exhibitions throughout the year.
Despite being surrounded by greenery, the house is well-connected to the center of Turin, which can be reached by car in about fifteen minutes. This proximity allows guests to fully enjoy the beauty and cultural attractions of the city—such as museums, theaters, and Savoy residences—while still enjoying the tranquility of the hill. The Superga area is also home to a small village featuring traditional restaurants serving authentic Piedmontese cuisine, complemented by local wines.
Casa Firmino serves as an excellent base for exploring the hills of Monferrato, Langhe, and Roero, regions known for their gastronomic and scenic significance, recognized as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. From this location, day trips to these areas as well as to the historic Savoy residences of Piedmont, including the Reggia di Venaria, which is about 20 kilometers away, can be easily organized.
