In the heart of the Alta Langa region in Piedmont, the B&B Poggio delle Ginestre welcomes its guests in Pezzolo Valle Uzzone, surrounded by pristine nature, starry skies, and breathtaking views that stretch across the hills. The establishment is the result of a careful restoration of an old barn from 1898, renovated with respect for the local style and environment, where the charm of rural architecture blends with the conveniences of modern amenities.

Spread across two levels, the B&B features two bright and well-decorated rooms, furnished with family heirlooms and equipped with private bathrooms. The Melograno room has a double bed, while the Fiordaliso room includes a bunk bed, making it perfect for families. Large windows offer stunning views of the hilly landscape, and the sun terrace is an ideal spot to enjoy the scenery or have breakfast outdoors, prepared with local ingredients and homemade recipes.

Guests can use mountain bikes to explore the area’s trails, and occasionally participate in pottery and DIY workshops. The reading room invites relaxation, complete with a lovely piano, while the garden provides a green space for tranquility. Travelers accompanied by pets are warmly welcomed.

For those seeking a more immersive experience, the StarsBox offers a unique opportunity: a structure inspired by the temporary shelters of alpine shepherds that allows guests to sleep under the stars, opening their eyes to the vastness of the sky.

The location is perfect for discovering the area's beauties: nearby are Alba, famous for its truffles, Acqui Terme, Canelli with its historic wineries, Asti, and even the sea. Winding through vineyards and authentic villages are food and wine trails, traditional festivals, and outdoor activities such as trekking, golf, horseback riding, and swimming.

Tania, the host who brings life to Poggio delle Ginestre, has chosen to share this place of memories and beauty to offer others the chance to slow down, breathe, and rediscover the simple joys of life.

Hey, I'm Tania

Tania is the heart of Poggio delle Ginestre. Since childhood, she has spent her summers in Gorrino, where she learned to listen to nature and follow its rhythms. This deep connection to the place inspired her, years later, to carefully renovate the old family barn and turn it into a bed and breakfast that could provide guests with the same sense of peace and authenticity. Attentive, welcoming, and passionate, Tania greets every traveler with the intention of offering a genuine experience filled with silence, smiles, lovingly prepared breakfasts, and a homey atmosphere.

Area Collina

The B&B Poggio delle Ginestre is located in Pezzolo Valle Uzzone, in the Alta Langa region of Piedmont, one of the most authentic and tranquil areas in the region where nature thrives. The landscape here consists of forests, vineyards, meadows, and small stone villages that appear to be frozen in time. This area is part of the UNESCO World Heritage site of the Langhe, renowned for its beauty, culinary culture, and quality of life.

Within a few kilometers, you can reach significant destinations: Alba, the capital of white truffles and fine wines; Acqui Terme, famous for its thermal waters and wellness centers; Canelli, known for its historic underground cellars, which are a UNESCO heritage site; and Asti, celebrated for its Palio and medieval architecture. Additionally, the Ligurian coast is easily accessible in under an hour, as are the cities of Turin and Genoa, perfect for cultural excursions.

The region is crisscrossed by numerous gastronomic routes that lead to the discovery of local products, quaint taverns, and wineries where you can taste the exceptional wines of the Langhe. There are plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities: hiking, cycling, horseback riding, and visits to castles and sanctuaries. From spring to autumn, the local calendar is filled with festivals, fairs, and events linked to farming traditions.

This is a land that encourages you to slow down, listen to the silence, admire the starry sky, and rediscover a balance between humanity and nature that seems lost in other places.
