In the heart of Paceco, within a nineteenth-century baglio that was once an oil mill, stands Le Macine 1868, a rural bed and breakfast that blends history, nature, and hospitality. The ancient millstones, still visible, reflect the memory of the place, while recent renovations have restored its original charm, surrounded by olive trees, citrus groves, fruit trees, and ornamental plants.

The shaded patio, adorned with a flowering pergola, welcomes guests with an atmosphere of tranquility and authenticity. Breakfast, served outdoors on linen tablecloths and local ceramics, features genuine flavors each morning: homemade jams, freshly baked doughnuts, yogurt, fresh fruit, and, in season, the prized Paceco melone cartucciaro infused with mint.

Located less than a kilometer from the SS 115, the B&B is an ideal starting point for exploring the wonders of western Sicily. Trapani is just 5 km away, Marsala 25 km, while nearby you can visit iconic places like Erice, Segesta, Mothia, the Zingaro Nature Reserve, and the ferry terminal for the Egadi Islands. Trapani Airport is just a few minutes away, and Palermo Airport can be reached in about forty minutes. Monreale, Palermo, Sciacca, and the Valley of the Temples are also conveniently accessible for a day trip.

The hospitality is provided by a young family deeply connected to this land, eager to offer recommendations, stories, and warm welcomes. Le Macine 1868 is more than just a place to stay; it’s an experience of wellness and authenticity, immersed in the Sicilian countryside.
Rooms and Rates
Breakfast is served outdoors, beneath the shade of the pergola, surrounded by the scents of the garden. Every morning, we offer a selection of wholesome products and homemade preparations: milk, coffee, tea, juices, yogurt, artisanal orange marmalade, freshly baked doughnuts, and a mix of fresh fruits. In season, we also include the Paceco cartucciaro melon, enhanced with a hint of mint. Everything is thoughtfully presented on linen tablecloths and Sicilian ceramics, allowing you to start the day with flavor and harmony.

Hey, I'm Massimo

I am a young law student nearing graduation from the University of Trento, with a strong focus on tourist rights and hospitality issues. Together with my family, we have decided to revive our historic country estate, turning it into a place where we can share the beauty and tranquility of this corner of Sicily. I believe in genuine hospitality, characterized by attentive listening, attention to detail, and respect for people and the environment. I would be delighted to welcome you personally, recommend the most captivating destinations in the area, and ensure you always feel at home.
