  • Romantic atmosphere
In the southeastern Sicilian countryside, nestled between the provinces of Syracuse and Ragusa, our stone farmhouse stands surrounded by dry-stone walls and majestic ancient olive and carob trees. The apartments, an integral part of the estate, blend the charm of Sicilian rural architecture with modern comforts, providing cozy spaces and stunning views.

The Loft, located on the first floor, features two bedrooms, a bathroom with a shower, and a fully equipped kitchen, opening onto a spacious veranda of approximately 35 square meters. The Terrace, situated on the ground floor, includes a double bedroom with a private bathroom, a kitchen, and a dining area, along with a private outdoor space that offers open views of the landscape. Both accommodations are equipped with air conditioning, heating, and complete linens.

Our property is a place where nature takes center stage: an organic garden, fruit trees, and animals roaming freely in the garden create an authentic atmosphere. Breakfasts, lunches, and dinners are prepared with local ingredients and homemade products, ranging from extra virgin olive oil to preserves, sourdough bread to fresh pasta, with careful consideration of any dietary intolerances.

The location is perfect for exploring the wonders of southeastern Sicily: Modica, Noto, Ragusa Ibla, and Scicli, all UNESCO World Heritage sites, are easily accessible, as is Syracuse with its Greek theater and the island of Ortigia. In a short time, one can also reach the crystal-clear waters of the Ionian Sea, including Marzamemi, Eloro, and the Vendicari reserve, or the long golden beaches of the Mediterranean, such as Pozzallo and Marina d’Ispica.
Rooms and Rates
Breakfasts are made with fresh and genuine ingredients, many of which come from our garden and local producers. Sourdough bread and pasta, homemade jams, preserves, extra virgin olive oil, seasonal fruits, and typical Sicilian sweets make every morning a special occasion. Upon request, we can also offer options suitable for food intolerances, while always maintaining the quality and authenticity of the flavors.
We offer lunch and dinner by reservation, made with local ingredients and produce grown directly in our organic garden. The menus change with the seasons and feature dishes from Sicilian tradition, enhanced by our own extra virgin olive oil, homemade bread and pasta made with sourdough, preserves, jams, and local wine. Each course is carefully crafted, focusing on authentic flavors and recipes that highlight the quality of the raw materials, with specific preparations available for guests with food intolerances.

Hey, I'm Miriam

My name is Miriam, and I work as a tour guide and teacher, driven by a deep love for nature and cooking. I personally tend to an organic garden and enjoy turning its harvest into wholesome meals to share with my guests. Animals play a vital role in my life; chickens, geese, peacocks, two dogs, and three cats roam freely in our garden, adding to the tranquility of the surroundings. Hosting allows me to share my lifestyle with those who value simplicity, delicious food, and the genuine beauty of the Sicilian countryside.

Area Campagna

We are located in the heart of the southeastern Sicilian countryside, in a prime spot that allows you to enjoy the tranquility of nature while still being close to some of the most captivating places in the region. Just a few minutes away from Rosolini, situated between the provinces of Siracusa and Ragusa, this area is rich in history, art, and stunning landscapes.

Nearby, you can find the beautiful baroque towns recognized as UNESCO World Heritage sites: Modica, known for its impressive churches and famous artisanal chocolate; Noto, often regarded as the capital of Sicilian baroque, with its elegant buildings and picturesque streets; Ragusa Ibla and Scicli, home to extraordinary historical monuments and the natural setting for the series "Il Commissario Montalbano."

In about forty minutes, you can reach Siracusa, which boasts the majestic Greek theater, the archaeological area of Neapolis, and the island of Ortigia, a captivating maze of alleys, squares, and sea views.

For beach lovers, there are options between the turquoise waters of the Ionian Sea and the long golden beaches of the Mediterranean. To the east lies Marzamemi, an ancient fishing village, the Vendicari Nature Reserve with its pristine coves, Eloro, and the Island of Currents, where the two seas converge. To the southwest, the expansive sandy stretches of Pozzallo and Marina d'Ispica offer relaxation and breathtaking sunsets.

This region also serves as an ideal starting point for nature and food and wine tours: amidst dry stone walls, fields dotted with carob trees and centuries-old olive trees, wineries, and olive oil mills where you can taste local wines and high-quality oils, allowing you to fully savor the authenticity of Sicily.
