Hello Rizzi

During the renovation of the attic in our home in Caldes, located in Val di Sole, we discovered a spacious and bright area that inspired us to open it up for hospitality. This idea gave birth to Rizzi B&B, a family project that combines our desire to welcome guests with the aim of showcasing the authentic beauty of our valley and the nearby Val di Rabbi, Pejo, and Non.

Situated on the third floor of a building without an elevator, our larch wood loft exudes a warm and inviting atmosphere. The rooms are thoughtfully decorated to provide a serene experience: there are no televisions, but a plethora of books to browse and a relaxing ambiance. The triple room “Mosaico” features an en-suite bathroom, while the two double rooms “Marina” and “Cirmolo” each have a private bathroom located outside the room. All spaces are air-conditioned and equipped with underfloor heating, allowing for independent regulation even in the bathrooms.

The entire property has been carefully designed with sustainability in mind, using natural materials, local wood, certified insulation, and an environmentally friendly pellet boiler complemented by solar panels. Outside, you’ll find a large courtyard for parking and a garden with a vegetable patch, lovingly tended by mom Livia, the heart of the home. Alongside her live Manuela, an enthusiastic mountain and cooking lover, Denis, who returns on weekends to help manage the B&B, and Cenerino, the curious and affectionate cat who enjoys company.

Breakfast is served in the family kitchen, where each morning you’ll find a table laden with homemade cakes, cookies, and jams, elderflower and mint syrups, berries picked from the garden, and local cheeses from the Cercen dairy in Terzolas. Upon request, we also offer savory options, gluten-free packaged products of high quality, and recipes suitable for those following a vegan diet. Breakfast is served starting at 7:30 AM, accommodating both early risers heading out for excursions and those who prefer a leisurely start to their day.

Caldes is a charming village recently recognized as one of the Most Beautiful Villages in Italy, dominated by its castle, which is open to visitors from April to November. The location is ideal for exploring Val di Sole, both in summer and winter. Just a few minutes’ walk away, there is a bike path that runs through the entire valley, perfect for mountain biking enthusiasts. The train that connects Trento to Marilleva stops right outside our home, making travel convenient and scenic.
