I Girasoli

Nestled among the Trentino mountains in the heart of Val di Non, the B&B I Girasoli is located in Malgolo, a district of Romeno, offering a peaceful and scenic spot that fosters a direct connection with nature. The recently renovated establishment welcomes guests with a warm and inviting atmosphere, surrounded by apple orchards and at the foot of Monte Roen, close to the trails leading to the Sanctuary of San Romedio. The garden, enhanced by a vegetable patch, fruit trees, and aromatic plants, serves as a space for relaxation and exploration, shared with the family's two lively Australian shepherds, Maffy and Zeus.

The rooms are decorated in a rustic style, providing essential comforts and an intimate environment, featuring large double beds, sofas, wardrobes, bookshelves, and desks. Two independent apartments are available, each with a private bathroom, a living room with a sofa bed, a TV, a kettle for herbal teas, and access to outdoor spaces. The presence of a pellet stove in the Rustic Room guarantees warmth even during the coldest winters.

Every morning, a carefully prepared breakfast features an Italian buffet with homemade pastries and baked goods, bread, and artisanal jams, accompanied by coffee, tea, milk, cappuccino, fresh juices, and yogurt. Elderflower syrup and savory options with local cheeses and cured meats are also offered. On request, gluten-free or vegan breakfast options are available.

Elena and Edoardo, the hosts, have passionately renovated this country house, tending to their garden and personally preparing healthy and genuine products for guests, along with the affection of their two dogs.

The B&B's location allows guests to fully experience the wonders of Val di Non: from the blooming apple trees in spring to the fruit harvest in autumn, from the cycling path in Alta Val di Non that leads to the Mendola Pass to guided hikes in the Maddalene mountains and the forests of Alta Anaunia. Nearby, visitors can explore historic castles and the famous Sanctuary of San Romedio, as well as enjoy nature trails in the Stelvio National Park, the Brenta Group, and the Val di Rabbi. For those seeking relaxation, the area's lakes offer peaceful retreats, such as Lake Tovel, while rainy days can be spent exploring the cultural attractions in nearby Trento, with its captivating museums and monuments.
