  • Romantic atmosphere
Nestled among the hills of Maremma, Agriturismo Il Melograno di Banditella provides an authentic and relaxing stay surrounded by nature, offering views of the mountains in the Uccellina Natural Park. Here, a connection with the outdoors combines with a passion for hospitality and a commitment to culinary excellence, creating genuine and memorable experiences.

The old stable has been transformed into a cozy dining area, welcoming guests with a family-friendly atmosphere where each dish reflects the flavors of tradition. The chef crafts homemade desserts, pasta, and bread, complementing dinners with an excellent Morellino di Scansano. The farm's agricultural production includes extra virgin olive oil, vegetables, and fruit, while the breeding of sport horses showcases a love for animals and rural life.

The property features double rooms and apartments equipped with all the comforts. Guests can unwind in the saltwater pool or the heated mini-pool with a hot tub, or explore the area on foot, by bike, or on horseback along nature trails that wind through the park and lead to historic villages, often accompanied by the legendary Maremma cowboys. Dogs, cats, and horses are also welcome, accommodated in comfortable stalls to share the experience with the entire family, both human and animal.
Rooms and Rates
In the morning, guests awaken to the scents of nature and discover a carefully curated and wholesome buffet, perfect for starting the day outdoors. Homemade cakes, seasonal fruits, and fruit salads reflect the freshness of the farm's products, while artisanal jams and honey add a sweet and distinctive touch. The bread, made with Tuscan flours and sourdough, is served alongside local cheeses and cured meats, fresh ricotta, and yogurt, providing an authentic "farm-to-table" experience. The drink selection ranges from moka coffee to cappuccino, fresh milk, herbal teas, and juices, ensuring a pleasant and revitalizing start to the day in a relaxing atmosphere.
The restaurant at the agriturismo welcomes guests in a cozy and well-maintained setting, where the warmth of hospitality blends with the joy of fine dining. The dining area has been created from the old horse stable, now transformed into a character-rich communal space, entirely hand-painted and tastefully furnished, perfectly in tune with the rural essence of the establishment.

Each dish tells the story of the land that surrounds us. All preparations are artisanal, made from locally sourced ingredients: vegetables, produce, and fruits come from the farm or selected local producers. Our cuisine, faithful to tradition yet open to creative reinterpretations, prioritizes the quality of raw materials and respects seasonal availability.

The menu offers authentic flavors and wholesome dishes, including the option to enjoy vegan and vegetarian specialties, crafted with the same care and variety. The bread, made daily with Tuscan flours and sourdough, simply and deliciously accompanies every course, enhancing the experience of a table that celebrates Maremma and its rhythms.

Area Campagna

The Tuscan Maremma is a genuine and still unspoiled part of the region, where nature reigns over the landscape and the pace of life aligns with that of the land. Here, amidst vast olive groves, Mediterranean scrub forests, and cultivated fields, one can breathe in the wildest spirit of Tuscany, far from the busiest tourist routes yet close to places of great charm and beauty.

The agriturismo is located right across from the Maremma Natural Park, a large protected area that shelters extraordinary biodiversity and landscapes that alternate between hills, coastal pine forests, secluded beaches, and wetlands frequented by herons, deer, and wild boars. The park's trails are perfect for long walks, horseback riding, or biking, traversing pristine and tranquil nature, dotted with medieval towers and breathtaking sea views.

In less than ten minutes, one can reach the beaches of the Tyrrhenian coast, where fine sand meets crystal-clear waters, ideal for peaceful beach days. In just over half an hour, you can arrive at Monte Argentario, known for its scenic promontories, hidden coves, and the fishing villages of Porto Santo Stefano and Porto Ercole. About fifty minutes away are the Saturnia Thermal Springs, famous for their sulfur springs and natural pools nestled in greenery, perfect for a rejuvenating break.

Staying in this area means experiencing a holiday in harmony with nature, with the opportunity to alternate moments of complete relaxation with outdoor activities amidst the sea, hills, and thermal baths. It is an ideal starting point to discover some of Tuscany's most picturesque locations while enjoying the tranquility and authenticity of the Maremma.
