At Agriturismo Le Selvole, guests can truly experience the authenticity of the Tuscan countryside, surrounded by serene hills, vineyards, and olive groves that create a perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. The property, passionately run by the Marzoli family, is situated on an agricultural estate of over 70 hectares, where grains are cultivated, and wine and oil are produced using traditional methods. Visitors are warmly welcomed and have the chance to immerse themselves in rural life, getting to know the farm animals and, upon request, participating in seasonal activities like grape harvesting or wheat cutting.

The farmhouse features four spacious independent apartments, tastefully decorated with simple furnishings and artisanal details. Each apartment is equipped with a kitchen, generous bedrooms, free Wi-Fi, and private outdoor areas. One of the ground-floor accommodations is accessible for individuals with mobility difficulties. All apartments overlook a meticulously maintained garden with a panoramic pool, a children's play area, barbecue facilities, and vast green spaces for relaxation. Groups can reserve the entire villa exclusively, including the charming "garden house," which has its own kitchen and a porch perfect for socializing and unwinding.

The day can begin with a breakfast made from local products and garden-fresh fruit, served in the house next to the pool. On request, tasting dinners are also organized, allowing guests to enjoy typical Tuscan dishes paired with wine produced on-site. Tailored experiences are available, including cooking classes, hiking or biking excursions along the trails of the Val di Cecina, horseback riding, and guided tours of the surrounding area.

The location is perfect for those seeking a nature-centric holiday while also wanting to explore the cultural treasures of Tuscany. Just a few kilometers away are the Etruscan city of Volterra, as well as San Gimignano, Siena, Pisa, Florence, and Lucca, alongside the beaches of Cecina, Bibbona, and Vada. Nearby, the geothermal phenomena of Larderello and Sasso Pisano, together with the Monterufoli-Caselli nature reserve, offer unique landscapes to discover.

Franca and her family, who have been managing the agriturismo for over fifteen years, are always present and eager to ensure that every guest feels at home, making their vacation an authentic and unforgettable experience.

Area Campagna

The area surrounding Agriturismo Le Selvole is one of the most picturesque in southwestern Tuscany, situated in the heart of the Alta Val di Cecina. Here, the countryside remains unspoiled and genuine, featuring gentle hills dotted with vineyards and olive groves, interspersed with dense forests, cultivated fields, and medieval villages that have stood the test of time. Away from the busy tourist trails, this region offers a slow and authentic pace, perfect for those seeking a direct connection with nature and rural traditions.

Just a few kilometers away lies Volterra, an ancient Etruscan city rich in historical and artistic heritage, showcasing everything from cyclopean walls to a Roman theater, medieval palaces, and alabaster workshops. Equally charming are the nearby small towns, such as Pomarance, Micciano, and Libbiano, which preserve the beauty of a discreet and tranquil Tuscany.

The region is also marked by unique natural phenomena: in Larderello and Sasso Pisano, one can witness geothermal activity, with fumaroles, steam vents, and hot springs emerging from the ground, providing a rare and captivating spectacle. Additionally, the Monterufoli-Caselli nature reserve, just a short distance away, offers perfect trails for hiking and mountain biking, surrounded by ancient oaks, streams, and breathtaking views.

Thanks to its central location, Le Selvole serves as a convenient base for accessing some of Tuscany's most famous art cities: San Gimignano with its towers, Siena with the allure of the Palio, Pisa and its renowned Piazza dei Miracoli, and Florence, the cradle of the Renaissance. The Tuscan coastline, featuring the beaches of Cecina, Bibbona, and Vada, is also easily reachable for a day by the sea.

Thus, this area embodies the perfect essence of authentic Tuscany: art and history, wild nature, charming villages, and enduring peasant traditions, all waiting to be discovered at a leisurely pace.
