The agriturismo is located in Marcena, a small village nestled in the Aretine countryside, where the landscape unfolds into gentle hills, vineyards, and oak forests. It is a peaceful and rejuvenating area, perfect for those looking to escape the urban hustle and rediscover the joys of nature, culture, and local traditions.
Marcena is also a place of remarkable artistic vitality: along its country roads, there is a Land Art trail that integrates contemporary works with the rural landscape, providing guests the opportunity to explore the surroundings through relaxing and visually and emotionally stimulating walks. Just 1 km from the agriturismo is the Casa Museo Gianlorenzo Palazzi, dedicated to the artist who lived and worked in this area. Visits, which are by appointment only, allow guests to discover a personal and evocative collection that can move even those who are not typically art enthusiasts.
A few kilometers away, you can find the Castello della Fioraia, a private structure visible from the outside, which further enhances the fairytale atmosphere of the region. For cycling enthusiasts, the Giovi–Ponte Buriano bike path offers a safe and flat route of about 7 km along the Arno River, leading to the famous bridge depicted in the background of Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa.
The proximity to Arezzo allows visitors to alternate the tranquility of the countryside with the vibrancy of the city center, featuring its museums, historic squares like Piazza Grande, the Cathedral, and numerous artisan shops. It is a region full of charm, where every corner tells stories of art, nature, and the beauty of Tuscany.
