The Canto del Sole is a cozy bed & breakfast located in a charming Tuscan estate, just 10 kilometers from the historic center of Siena, nestled in the heart of the Crete Senesi. Run with passion by Laura, Luciano, and their son Marco, the B&B offers an authentic experience, blending local traditions, nature, and family hospitality.

The property consists of two carefully restored buildings, decorated in the typical style of Tuscan "arte povera": the Canto del Sole and the Casino, a renovated 18th-century farmhouse. Surrounded by a large shaded park of about one hectare, guests can relax by a saltwater pool, enjoy a panoramic terrace overlooking the Val d’Arbia, explore a lemon house, and find areas equipped for children and barbecues. In the summer, meals are served in the outdoor courtyard, while in winter, guests can enjoy the cozy atmosphere of the lounge with a central fireplace.

The B&B offers billiards and board games, as well as spaces for hiking, mountain biking, or horseback riding. Just 1 kilometer away is the Grancia di Cuna, an ancient fortified farmhouse along the Via Francigena. The three hectares of land surrounding the property feature paddocks with horses, a small vineyard, and vegetable gardens for the guests.

Laura, a cooking expert, and Luciano, a nature enthusiast, are always available to recommend itineraries and provide information, making the stay a special opportunity to discover the beauty and traditions of Tuscany.

You can choose from a freshly made cappuccino, coffee, tea, or hot chocolate. On the table, there will be a selection of fresh juices, water, milk, as well as freshly baked bread and croissants. You'll also find artisan sweets, cookies, cereals, yogurt, jams, honey, toast, fresh cheese, cold cuts, bruschetta, eggs, fruit, and other seasonal products.

Laura, who has dedicated 62 years of her life largely to tourism due to her family’s tradition, views this work as an open window to the world—a way to connect with different cultures and showcase the wonders, flavors, and traditions of Tuscany. Luciano, 67 years old, after a lengthy entrepreneurial career, has chosen to fully commit himself, alongside Laura, to managing the B&B, turning their home into a gathering spot for travelers from all walks of life. His passion for horses and nature is reflected in the genuine and relaxing atmosphere that envelops the estate. For Laura and Luciano, Il Canto del Sole is not just a house; it’s an opportunity to share the warmth and hospitality of Tuscany with people from around the globe.
