La Casetta is a tranquil haven nestled in the unspoiled nature of the Belluno Dolomites, located at the mouth of the Val Canzoi, next to the Caorame stream. Here, time seems to slow down; the landscape is dominated by lush forests, and the sound of flowing water accompanies every moment of the day. In the background, the majestic peaks of Mount San Mauro, Mount Grave, and Tre Pietre frame this remote and enchanting corner.

Despite the sense of seclusion and serenity, the nearest village, which has bars, restaurants, and grocery stores, is less than 2 kilometers away, while the historic town of Feltre, known for its Renaissance charm, is only 6 kilometers distant. Its old town, perched on a hill and surrounded by walls, features museums, restaurants, and quaint shops.

La Casetta offers a simple and authentic hospitality, away from modern distractions. There are three rooms, each with a private bathroom: one double, one triple, and a spacious quadruple room that can accommodate an extra bed. Guests have access to a large lounge with a fully equipped kitchen and a loft, perfect for social gatherings. Breakfast, served between 8 and 9, includes healthy and wholesome products.

For those seeking an independent stay, the property also provides an apartment with a kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom. The sofa in the living room converts into a comfortable bed for two children. Constructed entirely of wood, the apartment ensures excellent thermal insulation, keeping the interiors cool in summer and warm in winter while minimizing energy consumption.

Wi-Fi is available throughout the property, and four-legged friends are always welcome.

Hey, I'm Christian

Christian, Amy, Katerina, and Zucca: Our Story. Christian hails from Feltre, where he was born in 1975. The little house that now welcomes visitors was once the home of his cherished grandmother. From a young age, Christian spent countless days in the house, particularly enjoying the company of his paternal grandparents. When he turned thirty, he made the decision to permanently relocate to this special place, fueled by a dream in his heart: to reopen the house, which had remained closed for about fifty years, so that others could experience it too. This aspiration has come to fruition and continues to be inspired by new dreams and projects. Amy, on the other hand, was born in 1974 in Ohio. After completing her university education, she moved to Bishop, California, driven by her deep passion for climbing and mountain sports. This enthusiasm led her to explore the Alps extensively, using various modes of transportation. Eventually, she chose to settle in the stunning Dolomites. Katerina entered the world in July 2013, bringing joy and a breath of fresh air into our lives. The Little House, which likely dates back to the 1930s, was built by Christian's great-grandparents, Angela and Rodolfo Broch, and serves as a precious connection to the history of our family.

Area Campagna

The Casetta is easily accessible from Feltre or Cesiomaggiore. If you choose to use a GPS, we recommend only relying on it until you reach the entrance of via Strada delle Negre; at that point, turn off the device and be prepared to pay close attention. Follow the wooden signs located at each intersection (the GPS does not recognize the address number 10, and the casetta is not located near number 12!).

Although the casetta is not situated high in the mountains, it is surrounded by a mountainous landscape. It’s completely normal for the roads to be winding, narrow, and uneven, unlike those in urban areas.
