The area where the Agriturismo Amoler is located is the Venetian countryside, situated between Mirano, Dolo, Mira, and the entire Riviera del Brenta. This region still retains the charm of its agricultural roots while being just a short distance from world-renowned cities of art.
The proximity to the Mira-Mirano train station allows for easy access to Venice and Padua in about twenty minutes, making it an ideal destination for those who wish to alternate relaxing moments in nature with days dedicated to cultural exploration. Venice, with its St. Mark's Square, canals, and Gothic palaces, offers a timeless experience, while Padua is home to the Scrovegni Chapel, featuring Giotto's famous frescoes, as well as a vibrant university atmosphere. Treviso, an elegant and compact city, provides picturesque views with its canals, arcades, and Renaissance squares.
The region is also abundant with fascinating routes, such as the Riviera del Brenta, dotted with Palladian villas and historic residences, including Villa Pisani in Stra and Villa Foscari “La Malcontenta.” Closer to home, Mirano boasts parks and villas that were once the residences of Venetian nobility during the 17th and 18th centuries, along with artistic links to painters Giambattista and Giandomenico Tiepolo.
For nature and landscape enthusiasts, there are plenty of trails to explore on foot or by bike along the Roman grid, an ancient agricultural division still visible in the countryside. A bit further afield, one can visit the Euganean Hills with their thermal baths, the Prosecco Hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and lesser-known yet remarkable art locations such as Carlo Scarpa's Brion Mausoleum in Altivole, the refined town of Asolo, or the Gypsotheca of Canova in Possagno.
This area seamlessly blends cities of art, historic villas, nature, and gastronomic routes, making every stay an opportunity to experience the authenticity of Veneto.
