The Trulli di Venere Resort welcomes travelers to a destination that blends the charm of Apulian tradition with the elegance of modern comforts. The distinctive stone houses with conical roofs, typical of the Itria Valley, have been carefully restored to maintain their original allure while providing cozy and refined spaces. Inside, you'll find three tastefully decorated bedrooms, three modern bathrooms, a living room with a fireplace, and a fully equipped kitchen. Every detail is designed to ensure comfort and relaxation, with amenities such as air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and a wellness area featuring a heated indoor pool and a hot tub.

Outside, the property is surrounded by a Mediterranean garden filled with ancient olive trees, aromatic plants, and shaded spots perfect for reading or dining al fresco. The infinity pool and relaxation areas with pergolas and sun loungers enhance the peaceful oasis that defines the resort. The intimate and enchanting atmosphere invites guests to enjoy a stay focused on wellness, immersed in the scents and colors of the Apulian countryside.

The resort is located in the countryside of Castellana Grotte, an area characterized by a rural landscape dotted with olive trees, vineyards, and dry stone walls. Here, nature and agricultural traditions blend seamlessly with the history and culture of the surrounding villages. The famous Castellana Caves, with their impressive underground chambers, are one of the most spectacular attractions in Puglia. Nearby, you can explore Alberobello, Locorotondo, Martina Franca, and Cisternino, as well as the coastal towns of Polignano a Mare and Monopoli.

You can start your day with a wholesome breakfast that reflects the local customs: espresso or cappuccino, sometimes enhanced by the typical Lecce coffee served with ice and almond milk, accompanied by pasticciotti, fresh bread, honey, local jams, and seasonal fruit. These simple and authentic flavors tell the story of the soul of Puglia.

The resort is managed by Michele Galizia, an entrepreneur from Castellana Grotte, who has chosen to dedicate his passion and attention to detail to hospitality. Through his properties, including the Trulli di Venere, he aims to create places that offer authentic and unforgettable experiences where tradition meets quality hospitality.

Area Campagna

The area of Castellana Grotte is situated on the edge of the Itria Valley, characterized by a landscape of ancient olive groves, vineyards, dry stone walls, and expanses of Mediterranean scrub. This region is rich in charm, where nature intertwines with history and farming traditions, creating an authentic and captivating scene. The limestone plateau it sits on features dry, sun-drenched land, perfect for olive cultivation, which produces a robust and fruity extra virgin olive oil, recognized as one of the local specialties.

The town itself preserves a historic core made up of narrow streets, small squares, and churches that reflect the village's past. However, the most famous attraction is undoubtedly the Castellana Caves, one of Italy's most significant karst formations: over 3 kilometers of underground galleries filled with stalactites, stalagmites, and spectacular caverns, including the impressive "Grave," a deep natural sinkhole.

Castellana also serves as a prime gateway to the white villages of the Itria Valley, such as Alberobello, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its remarkable concentration of trulli, as well as Locorotondo and Cisternino with their lime-washed houses, and Martina Franca with its baroque buildings. The coast and charming seaside towns, like Polignano a Mare with its cliffs overlooking the Adriatic, and Monopoli with its vibrant historic center and beaches, are also within easy reach.

The diverse landscapes and attractions make this territory suitable for all types of travelers: nature lovers can explore trails and countryside, culture seekers can delve into the history of the villages and farmhouses, while those looking for relaxation can enjoy the sea and the local culinary traditions.
