Nestled in the hills of Seborga, amidst ancient olive trees and fragrant blooms of Gaulois mimosa, Ca’ Belvedere is a charming residence designed with respect for the agricultural and floral traditions of the family. Surrounded by a landscape that contrasts the lush greenery of the Mediterranean scrub with the bright yellow of blooming mimosa, the property offers a relaxing stay in a sunny and scenic location, boasting breathtaking views that stretch from the Mediterranean to the French Riviera, encompassing Menton, Cap Ferrat, the red rocks of Esterel, and the tip of Saint-Tropez.

The meticulously designed spaces welcome guests into four bright rooms, each with its own theme inspired by the flowers and colors of Liguria. All rooms feature a private bathroom, independent climate control, complimentary Wi-Fi, a television, a hairdryer, private entrance, and reserved parking. During the pleasant season, breakfast is served in the panoramic garden: a buffet including fresh fruit from the farm and homemade pastries to savor in the tranquility of the hills.

Though newly constructed, the agriturismo stems from a family's dream that has successfully blended olive cultivation with floriculture. As early as the early 1900s, the grandparents turned the terraced land into rose gardens, later converted to cultivate Gaulois mimosa and Seborghina broom, which still adorn the slopes from January to April. In the autumn, guests can participate in the harvest of Taggiasca olives and witness the pressing process at the mill, while in the winter months, they can closely observe the collection and processing of the mimosa.

The owner, a certified tour guide, is eager to recommend itineraries through the medieval villages of the Ligurian West and the gems of the nearby French coast. Seborga, where the property is located, is an ancient Castrum full of charm, renowned for its millennia-old history and its identity as a "principality," which has recently been rediscovered with renewed interest. Strolling through its narrow streets offers a trip back in time, with fountains, quiet squares, and glimpses of the sea.

Its strategic location allows for easy access to Bordighera (10 km), Sanremo (15 km), the Principality of Monaco (25 km), and Nice (40 km), making Ca’ Belvedere an ideal starting point for exploring one of the most enchanting regions of the Mediterranean.
Rooms and Rates
Breakfast at Ca' Belvedere is a truly enjoyable experience, meant to be savored slowly amidst the scents of nature and the morning light that gently illuminates the garden. On milder days, it is served outdoors, with views that stretch over the Mediterranean and the elegant lines of the Côte d'Azur. Every detail is carefully crafted to provide a peaceful and delicious awakening, perfectly in tune with the surrounding environment.

Area Collina

Seborga rests on a hill at an altitude of 517 meters, overlooking the sea with a view that encompasses the Principality of Monaco and the Côte d'Azur. This small village in the western part of Liguria, famous for its ancient history and identity claims that have made it known as the "Principality of Seborga," retains the charm of a medieval stronghold. The historic center is a maze of narrow streets, stone arches, and quiet squares, where time seems to stand still, and the sound of bells marks the rhythm of daily life.

The terraced areas surrounding the village, cultivated with mimosa and broom, reflect a deeply rooted floral tradition that each year, from January to April, paints the landscape with golden hues and intense fragrances. Olive groves and Mediterranean scrublands complete the scenery, attracting hikers from all over Europe who traverse seaside paths amid silence, nature, and clear skies.

In addition to its history and natural heritage, Seborga features a rare permanent exhibition of over 200 ancient musical instruments, a unique attraction in Liguria that is open year-round. Its prime location allows for quick access to Bordighera, with its elegant promenade and exotic gardens, Sanremo, renowned for its Festival and Casino, Monte Carlo with its palaces and harbor, and Nice, vibrant and cosmopolitan, the second city of the Côte d'Azur. The valley that ascends from Bordighera to Seborga offers a captivating journey through olive trees, mimosas, and glimpses of the sea, perfect for those seeking authenticity and timeless beauty.
