Nestled in the tranquility of the gentle hills of the Marche region, the “Tenuta San Marcello” Agriturismo and Winery with Kitchen is a stylish family-run retreat that emerged from a desire to rediscover the importance of time, nature, and heritage. Located in San Marcello di Jesi, at the heart of rural Marche, this project took shape in 2009 when a Milanese family decided to leave the city behind to embrace a new lifestyle in harmony with the environment and local traditions.

The property comprises three buildings, carefully renovated using eco-friendly construction methods from an ancient farmhouse, enhanced with modern and sustainable solutions. The living spaces include eight different types of rooms and four independent apartments, all spacious and bright, designed to meet the needs of various guests, from couples to large families. Some accommodations can be connected to provide more space and additional amenities.

A panoramic saltwater pool, free of chlorine, overlooks the hillside and offers stunning views of the vineyards and surrounding landscape. The meticulously maintained garden is filled with flowers and peaceful corners for relaxation. The interior decor, inspired by the colors of the hills and the sea, creates a warm and inviting atmosphere.

The farmhouse features five rooms and one apartment, along with a shared kitchen and a lounge area with a fireplace and a small library, perfect for moments of reading or conversation. The former Barn and former Garage provide additional apartments and rooms with private pergolas and flexible layouts, ideal for ensuring privacy and independence.

The philosophy of Tenuta San Marcello is rooted in genuine hospitality and environmentally conscious management. Geothermal and photovoltaic systems, rainwater harvesting, and the reuse of heat from grape fermentation for hot water production are just a few of the sustainability-focused choices made.

The Winery passionately produces indigenous wines such as Lacrima di Morro d'Alba and Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi, cultivated without artificial interventions. The dishes served at the Osteria are seasonal and crafted from locally sourced ingredients, selected in collaboration with small local producers.

Tenuta San Marcello is more than just an agriturismo; it is an experience of harmony, flavor, and authenticity, recognized with prestigious awards such as the Slow Wine Coin and cherished by those seeking a rejuvenating stay for both body and spirit.

Rooms and Rates

Our breakfast buffet is a true testament to our commitment to our guests. You can enjoy homemade bread made with the must of Lacrima di Morro d'Alba or Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi, sometimes enhanced with nuts or seeds. We also offer always fresh milk rolls, served with our homemade butter and jams. Delightful pies, yogurt cakes, lemon and apple cakes, as well as ginger and hazelnut cookies, are also available, made according to the seasonal produce at hand.

Every morning, you’ll find a selection of fresh fruit, juices, yogurt, cereals, and toasted bread, not to mention high-quality cured meats and cheeses.

To complement your awakening, we provide a wide variety of teas, along with coffee, cappuccino, and macchiato.

Additionally, upon reservation, you can participate in tastings of our wines paired with cured meats, cheeses, and homemade bread.

During the summer season, from mid-June to mid-September, we serve dinner by reservation at our restaurant, Osteria del Vignaiolo. You can choose between an à la carte menu or a fixed menu. Feel free to contact us for more information!

The Vignaiolo Tavern serves as the culinary heart of the Estate, a place where cooking transforms into storytelling, experience, and a reflection of the land. It will be open for dinner on Fridays and Saturdays, and for lunch on Sundays, with full operations starting on June 1st. Until then, it is possible to book customized lunches or dinners for private events, ceremonies, celebrations, or business meetings, with menus tailored to specific needs.

The Tavern is founded on the same philosophy that drives the Estate: to celebrate the rural identity of the region through authentic, contemporary cuisine that is deeply rooted in its origins. Each dish results from careful selection, thorough sourcing of ingredients, and direct collaboration with small local producers who honor the land and traditions.

Dining here thus transforms into a sensory journey filled with aromas, colors, and flavors, where authenticity merges with creativity. The Estate's wines, a pure expression of our vineyard, become an integral part of this experience, inspiring recipes, complementing tastings, and strengthening the connection between what is cultivated and what is served.

At the Tavern, time slows down, camaraderie is renewed, and the enjoyment of good food intertwines with the joy of a good life.
