Nestled among the gentle hills of Barolo, La Rosa Gialla provides authentic hospitality in apartments and suites set in nature, designed to offer comfort, privacy, and a deep connection to the local area. Established in 2004 from the dream of Gianni and Marina, the establishment has evolved over time while preserving the familial spirit of its origins, relocating to the heart of the Langhe to provide a more attentive and warm welcome. The two houses, one in traditional style and the other built with eco-friendly materials, overlook the vineyards and the peaks of Monviso. They are connected by a spacious and well-maintained garden, featuring a saltwater pool, a panoramic terrace, a barbecue area, and communal spaces designed for relaxation.

Each apartment is decorated in unique colors and details, yet all convey the warmth of life in the Langhe. Wooden ceilings with exposed beams, large windows overlooking the vineyards, and private outdoor spaces create a cozy and elegant ambiance. Guests can choose between B&B rooms or fully equipped apartments, with amenities including private parking, free Wi-Fi, bike rentals, vineyard massages, and cooking classes.

Breakfast is served at the table with local products, homemade pastries, fruits and vegetables from the garden, and specialties from the family farm. Every detail is crafted to provide an authentic experience, featuring terrace aperitifs, strolls through the vineyards, foosball matches, and moments of relaxation in the blooming garden. Marina, Valentina, and Gianni are always available to recommend activities, wineries, and routes for exploring the Langhe, filled with truffles, hazelnuts, charming villages, and unforgettable views.

La Rosa Gialla is more than just a place to stay: it is a home away from home, where you can feel the warmth of a family and experience the slow, genuine charm of an extraordinary land.
Rooms and Rates
Breakfast at La Rosa Gialla is a special experience, served at the table with care and attention to ensure that every guest feels pampered from the very start of the day. Savory options are also available, along with seasonal fruits and vegetables from the family garden. Each day presents an opportunity to discover the authentic flavors of the Langhe, all in a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere surrounded by greenery.
La Rosa Gialla does not have a traditional restaurant but provides guests with an authentic and intimate dining experience that reflects the family-oriented atmosphere of the establishment. By reservation, guests can enjoy lunches and dinners made with fresh, local ingredients, many of which come straight from the family garden. These culinary experiences, available upon request, allow guests to savor the genuine flavors of Piedmont in a cozy and relaxed setting. Additionally, La Rosa Gialla offers cooking classes for those interested in learning how to prepare typical dishes from the local tradition, using zero-kilometer products. Hey, I'm Marina

Marina is the vibrant heart of La Rosa Gialla. With passion, commitment, and a natural talent for hospitality, she cares for her guests as if they were family. She is supported by her daughter Valentina, who is attentive to details and organization, and her husband Gianni, who lovingly oversees the family farm and countryside each day. Together, they make a close-knit team that is always available but never intrusive, ready to provide genuine advice, tailored suggestions, and the warmth that turns every stay into a special memory.

Area Collina

The hills of Langhe, home to La Rosa Gialla, are one of Italy's most captivating and renowned landscapes, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site for their beauty and the deep connection between nature, culture, and tradition. We find ourselves in the heart of Barolo, amidst rows of nebbiolo grapes and ancient villages that tell the stories of passionate winemakers, artisans, and chefs. This region is celebrated worldwide for its fine wines, particularly Barolo, as well as for its culinary treasures like Alba's white truffle, hazelnuts, and local cheeses.

Each season offers a unique atmosphere: from the spring bloom to the golden hues of autumn, perfect for harvest and truffle hunting. Here, one can enjoy an authentic experience by walking or biking along paths that connect wineries, quaint towns, and farmhouses, or by participating in food and wine tours, guided visits, tastings, and workshops. Just a few kilometers away are must-visit locations such as La Morra, Monforte d'Alba, Grinzane Cavour, and Alba, the birthplace of the International Truffle Fair.

Nature lovers can explore the woods and vineyards, ride through the hills, or take a hot air balloon ride to enjoy breathtaking views of the rolling landscape. The Langhe continually invite you to slow down, rediscover the joys of simple and genuine things, and marvel at a territory that captivates in every detail.
