Casa Filomena is a residence that blends elegance and authenticity, set within a park filled with olive trees, cedars, cypress trees, and oleanders. Carefully restored, it retains the essence of its original owner, great-grandmother Filomena, who infused these spaces with her love for nature and the local area. The terraces overlooking the greenery offer captivating views of the lake's reflections at sunset, the moon rising from the Rocca di Garda, and the fireworks that light up the village celebrations.

The villa is situated in a peaceful residential area at the foot of the hills, just a few minutes’ walk from the center of Garda and the natural beach that provides lovely vistas of the lake. Strolling along the paths, one can reach Punta San Vigilio and other trails leading to enchanting scenery. Travel to Verona or the lakeside villages is made easy by bus connections, Navigarda boats, or by bicycle.

The interiors house a collection of historical furnishings belonging to the family, adding character and warmth to the spaces. Casa Filomena is not just a place to stay, but an experience that weaves together nature, memory, and hospitality, turning every moment into a cherished memory.

Casa Filomena Agli Oleandri

Area Collina

The town of Garda is located on the eastern shore of Lake Benaco, in one of the most enchanting and distinctive areas of the region. The village, which lends its name to the lake, boasts a vibrant and well-maintained historic center, featuring cobblestone streets, ancient frescoed houses, and small squares bustling with cafés, gelato shops, and artisan boutiques. Along the elegant and flower-filled lakeside promenade, a relaxed atmosphere prevails, perfect for evening strolls while admiring the reflections on the water.

This area is renowned for its gentle and diverse landscapes: behind the town rise moraine hills adorned with vineyards and olive groves, while nearby are the woods of Rocca di Garda, a scenic promontory that provides one of the most breathtaking views of the lake. Numerous hiking trails and walks begin from here, connecting Garda to Bardolino and Torri del Benaco, allowing visitors to discover ever-changing vistas amidst nature and stunning panoramas.

Punta San Vigilio, one of the jewels of the lake, can be reached on foot along the coast: a charming peninsula featuring a 17th-century harbor, a lush park, and a small swimmable bay that captivates with its timeless beauty. From Garda, it is also easy to explore the other towns along the lake, taking advantage of the Navigarda boats that connect both shores, or to plan a visit to Verona, a city rich in art and culture located less than an hour away.

With its blend of nature, history, and flavors, Garda offers a variety of complementary experiences: from peaceful hikes in the hills to sunny days by the lake, as well as events and activities that enliven the town throughout the year.
