  • Romantic atmosphere
Nestled in the serene hills of the Langhe region, just a few kilometers from Alba, Il Vigneto di Roddi welcomes its guests in a beautifully restored historic farmhouse where a passion for hospitality blends with a love for exquisite cuisine. The venue features an elegant and inviting restaurant, six comfortable rooms, and a panoramic terrace overlooking a landscape of vineyards and hazelnut groves, perfect for relaxation or romantic dinners at sunset.

The restaurant, run by brothers Rossano and Manolo Allochis, offers a menu that reinterprets traditional Piedmontese dishes with creative touches, enhancing the authentic flavors of the region through carefully selected ingredients such as white truffles, cheeses, and hazelnuts. In spring and summer, the menu is enriched with refined seafood dishes. In the wine cellar, carved from the ancient walls, guests can sample some of the finest local and Italian wines, accompanied by delightful aperitifs.

The two indoor dining rooms, characterized by elegant barrel vaults, along with the summer outdoor area featuring masonry covers and gazebos, provide ideal settings for exclusive events, convivial dinners, or romantic evenings. For professional meetings, two private conference rooms are available. The six guest rooms are tastefully decorated, preserving the warm and welcoming style of the original farmhouse; some offer stunning panoramic views, while the suites and junior suites provide an even more special stay.

Every morning, breakfast is a quality ritual: a rich selection of sweet and savory products, with attention to specific dietary needs, is carefully served to ensure a great start to the day.

Il Vigneto is also where tradition meets innovation, exemplified by the creation of the “Mesa Buta,” a unique half-bottle-shaped serving dish designed to enhance the famous Barolo risotto. Conceived by the Allochis brothers, this distinctive item has become a symbol of their vision: to celebrate Langhe cuisine with style, creativity, and love for the territory.

Among the vineyards on the Ravinali hill, where family history intertwines with the art of hospitality, Il Vigneto di Roddi is a destination that offers authentic and memorable experiences, blending taste, nature, and culture.

Each season brings new inspirations, with a spring and summer menu that highlights seafood options.

Hey, I'm Rossano

Manolo and Rossano Allochis are the heart and soul of Il Vigneto di Roddi. As brothers and partners, they combine their talent, international experience, and extensive knowledge of the local area to provide guests with a warm and genuine welcome. Manolo, a passionate and creative chef, leads the kitchen with a personal touch that reinterprets Piedmontese tradition, while Rossano, with his elegant and attentive style, manages the dining area and the organization, ensuring that every dining experience is smooth and unforgettable. After receiving solid training and spending years working in Italy and abroad—from Monte Carlo to Lyon, and from Scotland to the United States—they decided to return to their roots, enhancing the family farmhouse and transforming it into a place where flavor and hospitality exist in perfect harmony. Their commitment is evident in every detail: from the selection of ingredients to the care of the rooms, culminating in the creation of the “Mesa Buta,” a symbol of their ability to innovate while respecting tradition.

Area Collina

The Roddi Vineyard is situated in the heart of the Langhe region, atop the Ravinali hill, in a privileged location that offers an unobstructed view of the vineyards and hazelnut groves that elegantly shape the landscape. Roddi is an ancient village that is peaceful and intimate, located just a few minutes from Alba, the capital of white truffles and a focal point for lovers of gourmet cuisine and fine Piedmont wines.

This area is a constant invitation to exploration: historic wineries, small producers, medieval castles, and scenic trails intertwine in a territory recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Each season here has its own charm: autumn paints the hills in warm colors and attracts travelers from around the globe for the Truffle Fair, spring encourages strolls among the flowering vines, summer provides bright days and outdoor evenings, while winter offers a hushed silence that enhances the landscape's allure.

The vineyard's location allows for easy exploration of the most renowned destinations in the Langhe and Roero, such as Barolo, La Morra, Neive, and Grinzane Cavour, all while enjoying the tranquility and privacy of a stay immersed in nature. It serves as the perfect starting point for gastronomic tours, cycling routes, cultural visits, or simply to slow down and savor the authentic beauty of these extraordinary hills.
