Nestled in a hilly area of thirty hectares with a view of the sea, the Agriturismo Punta Lizzu welcomes guests just a few kilometers from Siniscola, in a prime location for exploring the eastern coast of Sardinia. Established in 1993 by the Coronas family with the aim of preserving and sharing the flavors of Siniscola cuisine, the establishment blends hospitality and tradition, providing an authentic and profound experience of the region.

The kitchen serves as the vibrant heart of the agriturismo. Almost all ingredients come from the farm itself: pork and sheep meat, cheeses, fresh eggs, vegetables, fruits, olives, extra virgin olive oil, Cannonau and Vermentino wines, honey, and typical desserts. Everything is prepared with respect for seasonal cycles and ancient farming techniques. Pasta is made by hand, including ravioli filled with ricotta or cheese, malloreddus with meat sauce, carasau bread softened in broth and served with sauce and pecorino cheese, and Sa Supa Siniscolesa, a traditional dish with a rich flavor made with bread, sheep sauce, and slow-cooked over embers.

In the morning, breakfast offers a small journey into Sardinian culinary culture: homemade sweets prepared by the owner’s mother and sister, local citrus marmalades, honey from the farm, carasau bread and fresh bread, cold cuts, cheeses, eggs, juices, fruits, and hot drinks. Each day, the table reflects attention to detail and a desire to showcase the authentic flavors of the area.

The accommodations, all decorated with simplicity and functionality, include two-room apartments surrounded by greenery, featuring a veranda and sea view. Each apartment has a double bedroom, kitchenette, private bathroom, and the option for extra beds. The offerings can range from self-catering to bed and breakfast, to half-board, depending on the time of year. Some accommodations are built from stone in traditional style, while others follow Sardinian rural architecture with exposed beams and natural materials.

During the pleasant season, guests can participate in Assazos, gastronomic tours designed to highlight the farm's products paired with wines from the Inos Puntalizzu winery. This tasting experience accompanies each course—appetizers, first and second dishes, dessert—with labels made from indigenous grape varieties. Vegetarian options are also available, always respecting local cuisine.

The prime location allows easy access to some of the most beautiful beaches in the Mediterranean: Santa Lucia, Capo Comino, Bèrchida, and the Bideròsa oasis. From white sands to rocks kissed by crystal-clear waters, the sea here is a constant invitation to relax and explore. Nature lovers will find that Montalbo offers hiking trails through woods, caves, and breathtaking views, accessible on foot or by mountain bike.

Fabio Coronas, the owner of the agriturismo, is a hiking guide and a passionate connoisseur of the area. He personally leads guests in discovering hidden corners, local traditions, and natural paths. The agriturismo's library offers reading materials in Italian and other languages, a result of guest donations and the attention to detail that makes each stay a memorable experience.
Rooms and Rates
Breakfast at Agriturismo Punta Lizzu is a special occasion that showcases the authenticity of Siniscola's traditions. Each morning, a wide selection of sweet and savory dishes is served, made with fresh ingredients, many of which come from the farm itself. The homemade cakes, including ricotta, chocolate, fruit, and tart varieties, are prepared by the owner’s mother and sister. Additionally, traditional Sardinian sweets, such as sos papassinos, sas orilletas, and sas casatinas, made with shortcrust pastry, honey, ricotta, or nuts, follow ancient recipes from the region.

The farm's honey and artisanal jams made from orange and pompìa—a rare and fragrant citrus fruit grown in Siniscola—are also included. Fresh bread is purchased every morning and served alongside carasau bread, a symbol of Sardinia. Among the savory options are local cheeses, cured meats, scrambled eggs upon request, fritters, and savory pies, depending on kitchen availability. Seasonal fruits, cereals, butter, juices, chocolate spread, tea, coffee, milk, and cappuccino complete the breakfast offerings.

Thus, each breakfast becomes an opportunity to discover the island's genuine flavors, designed to start the day with taste and simplicity.
The restaurant at Agriturismo Punta Lizzu offers a genuine journey through the cuisine of Siniscola and Sardinia, featuring authentic flavors and locally sourced ingredients. Each dish tells a story, from handmade pasta like stuffed ravioli and malloreddus to carasau bread softened in broth, as well as traditional recipes such as Sa Supa Siniscolesa and slowly roasted suckling pig. The pork and lamb, cheeses—including ricotta—and vegetables are sourced almost entirely from the farm, ensuring freshness and seasonality in every dish.

The culinary offerings are flexible; diners can choose from an à la carte menu, tasting menu, wine tasting, or aperitif, all paired with wines from the Inos Puntalizzu winery. The tasting experiences highlight the oils, cheeses, honey, and liqueurs produced on-site, with pairings designed to enhance local grape varieties like Cannonau and Vermentino. For groups and families, a vegetarian menu is available, with the understanding that each table will enjoy the same selection, ensuring a shared experience.

The atmosphere is warm and inviting, set in a hilly landscape with a view of the sea. The team, led by Fabio Coronas, attentively attends to each guest, sharing anecdotes, suggesting pairings, and explaining the history behind the dishes. Dining here means experiencing a complete gastronomic journey that blends island tradition with the informal elegance of a farm stay, where quality is a daily commitment.

Area Campagna

The area surrounding Agriturismo Punta Lizzu presents an extraordinary variety of landscapes and inspirations, located in one of the most enchanting corners of eastern Sardinia. The facility is situated about four kilometers from Siniscola, in a scenic position among gentle hills that slope down to the sea. From this vantage point, one can take in the coastline and the peaks of Montalbo, experiencing a series of natural vistas that change with the light throughout the day.

Just two kilometers away lies the coastline, where fine sandy beaches alternate with rocky coves and crystal-clear waters. Among the closest and most popular are La Caletta and Santa Lucia, featuring shallow waters ideal for safe swimming, extending to Capo Comino, famous for its dunes topped with junipers and turquoise waters that invite swimming and snorkeling. A bit further, the pristine landscapes of Berchida and the natural oasis of Biderosa open up, protected areas where nature reveals itself in its purest form.

For those who enjoy exploring the inland, activities such as trekking, mountain biking, or free climbing can be pursued on the slopes of Montalbo, a limestone mountain that reaches an altitude of one thousand meters and is home to endemic plant and animal species, amidst ancient forests of holm oaks, centuries-old junipers, mouflons, and martens. The trails wind through breathtaking scenery and ancient silences, offering experiences suitable for both expert hikers and those seeking a leisurely walk in nature.

Siniscola, the nearest town, retains the authentic spirit of a Sardinian village deeply connected to its roots. Here, one can discover artisan shops, local markets, traditional festivals, and a cultural heritage that is deeply rooted in the history of Baronia. The area also serves as an ideal starting point for exploring the entire central-eastern coast of the island, from Orosei to Cala Gonone and the Gulf of Orosei, or for broader itineraries into the interior, unveiling the lesser-known yet captivating parts of Sardinia.

Far from mass tourism, this region encourages a slow pace of life, in harmony with nature and traditions. It remains an unspoiled land, welcoming those who wish to not only see but truly experience Sardinia.
