The Val di Fassa is one of the most enchanting valleys in the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Surrounded by some of the most iconic peaks of the Alps, such as the Catinaccio, Sassolungo, Sella, and Marmolada, this Trentino valley provides breathtaking views in every season and an impressive variety of natural environments ranging from high-altitude pastures to coniferous forests, snowy summits to crystal-clear streams.
The region, traversed by the Avisio River, is dotted with small mountain villages where the Ladin culture is still alive, proudly maintained through language, architecture, and local traditions. Vigo di Fassa, home to the Agritur Soreie, is one of the valley's historic towns, sunny and conveniently located for easy access to the main ski lifts, such as those at Catinaccio, Buffaure (connected to Sellaronda), and Lusia.
In the summer, Val di Fassa becomes a paradise for hikers, cyclists, and families. Well-marked trails wind through forests and meadows, leading to mountain huts and high-altitude lakes. The valley's bike path conveniently connects the towns and is ideal for leisurely strolls. In winter, the area transforms into one of the most renowned ski resorts in the Alps, featuring miles of perfectly groomed slopes, cross-country skiing tracks, and snowshoeing paths. The famous Marcialonga takes place along the snow-covered bike path that runs near the agriturismo.
Just a few minutes from Agritur Soreie, you'll find QC Terme Dolomiti, modern thermal baths nestled in nature, where you can relax in warm water while enjoying views of the snow-capped peaks. The area is also rich in cultural and gastronomic offerings, with festivals, markets, and mountain huts serving traditional Ladin and Trentino dishes.
In every season, Val di Fassa offers authentic experiences filled with nature, sports, culture, and local flavors. It is a vibrant territory where the mountains are not just a backdrop but a tangible presence to be experienced with respect and wonder.
