The culinary offerings at Il Palazzino showcase a genuine connection to the local area and a passion for fine cuisine. Most of the ingredients come from our own farm and selected local producers: our own extra virgin olive oil, garden-fresh vegetables, aromatic herbs, seasonal fruits, Chianina meats, traditional cheeses, and regional wines, notably those from nearby Bolgheri.
During the summer months, from June to September, the restaurant “Via di Bacco 12” welcomes guests in a separate building located about 200 meters from the main house, set in a captivating natural and archaeological environment. The name and atmosphere of the venue reflect the “Etruscan” style of the decor, harmonizing with the surrounding landscape, which is often enlivened by cultural and artistic events.
The à la carte menu features creatively reimagined traditional Tuscan dishes: homemade fresh pasta, meat mains, antipasti, platters, and delightful bites paired with a carefully curated selection of local wines. Desserts are made special with artisanal ice creams, crafted from natural ingredients such as fresh fruit, milk, cream, sugar, and eggs.
In the cooler months, from autumn to spring, Il Palazzino opens its ancient cellars for private events, lunches, and dinners by reservation. Even in this enchanting setting, the kitchen upholds its philosophy, offering specialties made from genuine raw materials, accompanied by tastings of local wines and products.
During festive occasions such as Christmas, St. Stephen's Day, New Year's, Easter, Easter Monday, and on long weekends, the restaurant opens its doors to celebrate with flavor and ambiance. Guests can also visit the cellars, enjoy an “Etruscan aperitif,” and explore exhibitions on experimental archaeology focused on the Etruscan world.
